Wasn't a meteor as those are incredibly slow for a meteor. Was likely a dead satellite or debris left over in orbit that eventually its orbit decayed and got low enough to reenter earth.

My bet is he chose that woman because she had the brightest color clothing (kind of like a bull going after a red cape). She wasn't really "incredibly" lucky not to get hurt as gorillas as fairly benevolent towards humans most of the time - even when confronted or feeling threatened, most of their acting out is just a warning as opposed to an attack. and the rotoscoping isn't that well done, you can see around the winsheild and mirriors how shaky it is, if the car wasn't moving then there wouldn't be shake so it would've looked better, still sick tho. also you then could add a bit of shake to the car in editting to make it still seen like its moving, without the shakey edges

The angle doesn't tell you much, but the amount of time you can see it does. You're correct, though, meteors would be traveling at extreme velocities, what's pictured is some kind of debris from Earth orbit.

@@sigmasquadleader The angle itself is enough to nearly guarantee it’s a man made object. It’s very, extremely rare, only a tiny fraction of 1% of meteors, that enter at that much of an oblique angle and still fall to earth. If a meteor enters the atmosphere from the evening side, meaning it’s coming from the rear of earths travel it will be moving very slowly, just a fraction compared to a meteor coming from the direction the earth is traveling towards and would have enough speed to enter and then exit the atmosphere. So on top of the extremely small chance a meteor would enter at that oblique angle plus having to have entered from the rear of earths travel makes chances of it being a meteor practically zero.

0:43 We had that here in Oregon. The skies were totally orange, and there was ash falling from the sky, it might as well have been a volcanic eruption. I mean, it honestly looked like mars. Even the sun didn't look normal, it was so red and dim you could look straight at it without even squinting. It looked like our sun was replaced by a red dwarf star.
I have to admit we got some beautiful skies with it last year, but I in no way want to live thru that here again.
Last year in Grant County, Washington there was enough smoke and dust in the air that in some places it was pitch black even though the sun was high in the sky, people couldn't see more than 2 yards(2 meters) or so.

I live in Eugene Oregon and it wasn’t so bad that the sky’s were red! So sorry that happened to you! The sky’s here turned dimly orange and it was hard to breathe, I tried to drive to the lake to see if I could breathe better but it was no use and it simply didn’t work.

1:43 so what happened here is this guy used a drone to take this shot of going down the road and flying off into the distance, and then he took a still video of him in his car and may have used green screen, however if you watch the left side mirror of the car it seems the video was masked. This doesn’t make sense to me as I feel like it would be much easier to just surround the whole car with a green sheet, but maybe he has another reason.
EDIT: so it seems this guy wasn’t still while taking the video of him in the car, he was moving. You can see the shadows of the trees moving, and the car shaking, which reveals the mask. Mask is just drawing around the things you don’t want to be seen, and then deleting them. The editor forgot one minor detail, and that is the fact you can still see the shadows of the trees moving when he is well above all the trees.
I was assuming he did something like that to record that clip. I noticed those shadows too, or at least that something was off.
If you look closely,you can can see his right side mirror is slightly cropped out
also what you see in his rear view mirrors doesn't match. The image in the mirrors is stationary for a few seconds, and then after he takes off you still see reflections of trees from ground level.
There is actually flying cars now
You can see the jagged edges around the steering wheel and left edge of windscreen as well as the wing mirror. The reflections in the wing mirrors don't match with the purported "flight" either. It's clever and looks good (though not perfect) on first viewing, but is clearly not the work of a professional; Captain Disillusion would dismiss this in 10 seconds.
There are worse things to have happen when you’re working with rare earth magnets like that. If some of your skin gets caught between them, they’re keeping it unless you can squeeze a butter knife in between to pry or wedge them apart.
We have 1in square NIB magnets at work. We have to keep them separated with silicone gaskets. I tried to fold a 3x3 panel sideways but I couldn’t. But I nearly lost a finger for my boredom and stupidity. Thankfully completely uninjured, undamaged, and no one saw.
I bought these insanely strong magnets off Amazon to sew into the bottom of shower curtains i was making. Not only did they damage my antique claw foot bathtub (😢) but they sliced my hands. Mangnets can be very dangerous.
