Still my favourite Detecting channel on YT👍 I only started Detecting earlier this year and bought a used Minelab Vanquish 340 and love it but next year I'm looking at getting an upgrade. I'm definitely leaning towards the Equinox models but not sure which one. For a 2nd machine which would you recommend? 600, 700, 800 or 900 ? To be honest the 900 is probably outside my budget. Obviously the 900 will be better than the 800 and so on but would the lower models offer enough of an upgrade? Which model is it that you use? Thanks Paul
Get the 700 mate I always said if I know what I know now I would have bought the 600 rather than the 800 :-) 😀 all of them are very respectable machines and work great

Been catching up on you past videos and love your content. I have always been interested in getting a decent metal detector and as my 61st birthday looms I have finally pulling the trigger. I have gone for a Quest x5 after seeing your reviews. I have also picked up a Dr Otek pinpointer and will upgrade when funds allow. My granddaughter will love playing with it while I play with the Quest. I have also picked up a sand scoop as I do not live too far from Crosby Beach (Merseyside). It all comes from Amazon and will get it tomorrow :). I actually got the Quest on 10 month interest free payments for £169
In 1600s ish they used a lead lump normally covered in leather to push large needles 🪡 through things like leather and clothes, they were made to fit in the users palm :-)

I'm not sure 😕 sometimes it's like your unstoppable and boom all sorts of good stuff comes up. Other days you can't find nothing but people.all around are on the good stuff hahah
That could be just perception, unless your swing is off due to sleep deprivation, some fields don't yield but the odd spent penny can nearly always be sought
