Great video. Unfortunately i somehow cannot sync my watch with WearOS and it keeps giving me errors of not able to copy my profile to the watch. So can’t get full features on the watch. Strange.
I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble syncing your TAG Heuer! Sometimes technology can be a bit finicky. Have you tried restarting both your watch and phone? That often helps!
@@jamesm3471 I been thinking about an smartwatch for some months... Honestly, I am not a big fan of smart watches - but building a serious smart home (When Google Genesis has matured and is more widespread i.e. on Wear OS), for travel (Google Maps), the fact that I cannot wear a autentic IWC Portugieser Yacht Club anywear (for comparision the Tag Heurer is cheap haha) - I realised versality. And if I still consider a smart watch, why not consider some of the best. Smart watches are not that pricey after-all comparing to true high street luxury. At least not yet.
I have a bunch of bootleg Tag Heur analog watch faces for my smart watch. With one of the Android apps I have customized the dials with more modern colors. For example I red the classic Toronto and Monza dials with fluorescent "Miami" style colors which I called my KITH homages. Sure enough KITH launced their new Formula One line but $1500 for a quartz 3 hand movement makes the Tag Connected the better deal. But I'm way too big a Longines and Grand Seiko junky to give another smartch watch wrist time.
That's awesome! The Tag Heuer Connected is a fantastic choice. As for solar power, it’s not traditionally solar-powered, but it does have great battery life. Definitely check it out in person!
I love your watch. I had two previous TGC but sold them because of the old OS on them. I wanted to get your watch version but was worried about the quality . Do you think there might be a 2024/25 version going to be released soon ? Thank you,
I like the idea of this watch, I'd like to add it to my tag collection but what worries me is the length of support. £1700 doesn't bother me but if it's only supported for like three years that's an experience toy. I like the idea of the tech this watch comes with but a normal mechanical tag maybe lasts longer? Or are Tag Heuer promising support and updates for these watches long term?
You get constant updates and unique watchfaces that other brands cannot copy. Personally, I just want to own a smartwatch that most people don't have that can make contactless payment, notify me and let me find my phone that is a premium brand. If I see someone else wearing TAG Connected I might switch to another model or brand but so far I have been unique. Also price down to £1,050 for latest model and I reckon you need to replace battery every 3-4 years which is what I did on this video.
will never buy another TH again... I have an older model Formula1 valued around $500.00, brought it to a TH boutique for a battery replacement, paid $45.00 for shipping to wherever they replace batteries... Two weeks later I received a call telling me that it will cost me $468.00 for battery replacement and service. Nothing wrong with my watch, only battery is dead, I take great care of my watches so it doesn't really need anything else, was told it would look like new. Refused the service, got my watch back and took it to a well known jeweler and they sent it in for $95.00 to replace battery and check gasket (no shipping charges btw). Lost out on $45.00 but saved me the amount near to the value of the piece I have. Would rather give my money to Omega or Breitling, both brands which I own watches from, than purchase another "TAG" and end up getting ripped off. Yes, I also did get the pretty case when the watch was returned, but I did not feel like a special citizen.
It sounds like you had quite the experience! It's frustrating when service costs exceed expectations, especially for something as simple as a battery replacement. Thanks for sharing your story!
For the looks and functionality youre better off with a Huawei watch. They dont have the prestige and heritage of Tag Heuer but objectively - the design, aesthetics, functionality and health/fitness accuracy is far better in their GT and Watch Pro ranges
Thank you for your info… I will definitely purchase a Tag Hauer smart watch and add to my collection..

@ sure i did. Many times. Unfortunately nothing happens different with the restart. 😞
I'm the same way , I hate buying what everyone else buys , not just my watch but my vehicle , clothes , backpacks ect ... love my Tag E4
i want a smart watch just to sleep in. some of my employees use them for monitoring their sleep. Does it have functions like that?
You could, but something smaller and more comfortable to wear might be better.

I really like the idea of a Tag Heuer connect watch. Goal is to find a local shop here in the US and try them out. Any chance it solar powered?

There should be - please check out Tag heuer official website.

Yet you don’t mind giving Apple £1200 every 2 years
Hi.
You didn't mention how long your new battery lasts now it's been replaced
Up to 28 hours of use
How did you find the watch features if you have an iPhone?
this is Andriod
When i didn't love my huawei so much i would consider getting one
Hello, beautiful watch. Are you selling?
No, sorry
what specific model is it?
Tag Heuer Connected 2020
E3 or E4? Thanks in advance @@ljptech
How much you pay for that watch?
I appreciate your interest! That watch was a bit of an investment, but totally worth it for the style and quality. $1600
Garmin Marq.. give it a shot.
Just recently got the Athlete Gen 2, massive improvement over the Fenix 6 Pro.
Why is it called connected? Connected to what? My Ultra 2 is connected to all my Apple devices
Connected digitally?
I wouldn't buy it even if the price is 150$...why would I when you have garmin fenix 7 pro, now fenix 8🤷♂️
I totally get where you're coming from! The Fenix 7 Pro and Fenix 8 are tough competitors, offering amazing features that make them hard to pass up.

Dam son 20% tax…cray cray
I know, right? It’s wild how taxes can take such a big bite out of our income!
Two minutes in and he hasn’t told me anything yet
I like to talk
