Already during the last event i chose surefoot everytime. The possibility to run while throwing something or healing yourself was so powerful and saved me many times !!! But with this event it's totally cracked 😅😂
I think this bug applies the “quiet footsteps” effect also that it’s supposed to only apply when you are crouching. It doesn’t reduce the sound of you running, but it seems like Ai mobs don’t realize you are near unless you are very close while the speed bug is active and walk/running. At least it seems so in my experience. I’ve been using the bugged surefoot for most of the event. It’s awesome. Great vid Whityyy👌🏻
@Whityyy I actually disagree and don't want a speed boost at all in this game. I'd love for surefoot to become a permanent trait though for like 7 points, that'd be awesome

great vid - game 1 and 2 were insane. Did not really get the Surefoot bug - are you x% faster when using greyhound or you have the greyhound effect without picking greyhound when carrying a token?
@@Whityyy It's appears to be both activated and deactivated by crouching. From what i've seen noticed after getting Surefoot and then crouching and uncrouching, you activate the speed boost. You can tell if you ADS with your weapon and your character wiggles the weapon while walking and your gun will be leaning back a bit as well. If you crouch and stand again, it will deactivate the speed boost.
Ive felt dirty using it tbh. Ive caught myself turning it off when I think it'd give me a real advantage, like during fights or ratting off with bounty. Just extracting after everyone's dead? Who cares. Thats probably going to change now that more people know, though. I for sure need to run bow with it. Moral garbage aside, the slight speedboost while it's drawn back seems like it'd be great.
@Whityyy I love the idea of a speedboost. Adrenaline was a little too situational, Surefoot is too free. I kinda like the idea with Smugglers, having to carry a bounty is something at least. Not in love with that trade-off, though. It encourages running away with bounty too much. There needs to be SOME tradeoff for the boost, hell, id take something like louder footsteps. Call it Lead Foot or something.
so is this safe to use, cause ive been too scared its considered bug abuse and the devs never responded to me when the acknowledged they weren't fixing it whether or not that was fair game now
safe to use, they said in a reddit post they arent fixing it and it's not like they can ban you for pledging to it. Vombuz and I are using surefoot all the time and didn't get a "stop using it"
