    3:20 That incident had nothing to do with stormy weather. Instead, a tourist swimmer was hit by one of those speedboats.
    Whenever I swim, I always look out for those jet skis and speedboats, they are maniacs, so dangerous
    i wish they were banned from the beaches

      @steverosse Месяц назад

      Banned by whom? Powerful people are making tons of money from the speed boats, that's why there are so many of them. Even if they passed a law against them, the vendors would just ignore the law. Prostitution has been illegal here since 1960.

      @@steverosseI‘m lucky living in Rawai, no parasailing, no jetskis just beach at Nai Harn.
      So just choose wisely where you eant to spend your holidays, there are a lot of nice and quiet beaches in phuket

    • @steverosse
      @steverosse Месяц назад

      @@susanzimmerli5178 Maybe, but Rawai is not one of them. It's a mud flat, so you can't swim at Rawai. You take your life in your hands just crossing the beach road. Nai Harn is crowded in the high season. I think that anything you like about Phuket is in more abundance in a hundred different places in Phang Nga and Krabi. And plenty of beaches in Thailand don't have jet skis and speed boats and parasailing. Plenty of places don't have stupid malls and traffic jams. Phuket is a farang ghetto.

      @@susanzimmerli5178 I said Rawai beach is a mud flat. It is. I said Nai Harn is crowded. It is. I make no mistakes in text. Ask anybody.

    I recently saw a parasail boats get insanely close to a local surfer in Patong before turning the boat at the last minute which just pointed the outboard engine towards the surfer. Unbelievable how ignorant and dangerous their staff seem to be. It was right in front of the lifeguard station but I bet they did nothing.

    Why are speedboats allowed to operate when the red "no- swimming" flags are up? I don't understand?

    • @steverosse
      @steverosse Месяц назад

      Who do you think tells the vendors on the beach when and where to operate? This is Thailand. They pay the authorities, and they do what they want where they want when they want. Prostitution has been illegal in Thailand since 1960. Who cares? Those lax attitudes toward regulations are one reason why some Westerners come here.

    Hi, May I share the most important news you will ever hear in your entire life? God the Father sent His holy Son Jesus Christ(Y'shua Ha' Mashiach) from heaven to earth, to be born of a virgin. He grew up and died on the cross for our sins. He was put into a tomb for 3 days, and then Abba Father raised Jesus to life and He appeared to people and went back to Heaven. We must all sincerely receive Jesus to be a true child of God. It says in John 1:12 "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." Will you genuinely believe on Christ Jesus and truly receive Him today, before it is too late?
