It's 2023 and Kevin Costner's most beautiful eulogy still makes me cry. Probably the most heartfelt eulogy ever. He tells a story about himself and also Whitney and their Baptist upbringing. But his stories about Whitney and her going to Heaven. OMG! Don't you worry Whitney, you'll be good enough. Tears again 😭😭😭

January 2023 ~ I just watched "The Body Guard" and I wanted to come and search out Kevin Costner's eulogy of beautiful Whitney Houston ... it still brings tears to my eyes listening to his emotional & heartfelt words 💔
This was so raw and so precious. I do believe he cared about her so much! Beautifully done and I have come to realize recently what a wonderful speaker Kevin Costner is through my recent watching, binging and obsession with Yellowstone.

It's my personal opinion that he fell in love with her. That's just an opinion.. I don't know.. I wasn't there! But I think they would have made a beautiful couple! I bet he would have loved her very deeply.. n visa versa
He’s been saying it for the past 11 years. And he revealed it here. There is friendship and there is a man who was madly in love. Everything he says about her is not something you would say about a person you met on a movie 30 years ago. This man loved her!
If she had had a better entourage and not just 'exploiters'. she would still been alive today ... About the funeral, I still do not comprehend the lack of respect and decorum. Thank God, Kevin Costner beautifully lived up up to the task as she deserved it. Same for Lisa Mary Presley. Such waits.
Be careful friend. You don't have the right or power to Judge anyone inside nevermind outside, Gods home. You clearly do not share her blood or a close friend of hers. If you watched any of this video and thought your opinion of her death or life is important or welcomed you are not only wrong you are missing out on something special that doesnt have to be shared with you or anyone. I believe it wasnt an easy choice for her family to make, to allow people like you be invited to something so intimate and devastating. 12 years later Boomer2304 feels comfortable making Judgements on a persons life, some random person that will never accomplish a fraction of success she has accomplished. I love Whitney we are both from Newark NJ she grew up in East Orange NJ, I grew up singing and dancing to her music. I followed her career as an adult and was so proud. I remember when Whitney passed the world was devastated. I also remember as a native of Newark how the city felt of her passing. Many may not know but Newark is a major inner city high crime rate, shootings, gangs,etc... When the mayor announced to the city that her services will be held in Newark and was asked out of respect for Whitney to cease gun violence and respect her day was big and i had doubts. The day of her services went smoothly and peaceful and I knew not only the world loved her but so did her hometown and honored her ..that spoke volume. Kevin was right Whitney we love you you were never good enough you were Great. Continue to fly high queen❣️ BrickCity 4 ever😢
