Or is the only way to do that splitting the map into two and creating a map connection?

Not sure if it's due to a new version or I missed something, but also make sure to save your game in the demo as well as saving the changes and compiling the files before closing and reloading it, that way it saves any pokemon added so you can actually begin encounters

Really excited to see this series getting a revamp just as I started working on a fangame again! I had tried a few years back and relied heavily on your tutorials but due to switching over to a mac for a while had no good means of game making. I just decided to get back at it a couple weeks ago with my new computer and was looking for your tutorials and was so excited to see this getting a new series for v20! I assume you'll be re-covering everything you previously went over so I won't ask for anything I know you did - but there's one thing I've been trying to track down that I was wondering if you might cover. I'm trying to work out how to edit weather effects (like adding new effects to existing weather types, such as giving stat boosts like sandstorm does in newer gens) but haven't managed to find much about editing the weather effect scripts, just how to turn weather effects on/off for a given route/trigger weather. If you have any idea of how to make those kinds of changes, would you be up for covering that whenever you get to weather? Looking forward to seeing the next videos!!

Wouldn't the Pidgey remain with 50% chances, since the new encounter you added is for a different tileset? Or is it really important to all the encounters of one route all add up to 100?
Hello, I have a small question thats been bugging me, how do you start 2 different projects? For example: You finished a game and you want to make a new game, but you don't want to delete your previous game because you might make updates?
Does Land by itself apply the land encounters to all times of the day or does it get overwritten by the ones that only appear at the specific time of the day?

Hi, I'm really enjoying your detailed explanations in creating a New Pokémon game. I'm having a bit of trouble though. I want to create a Pokemon's Ability that will allow it to recover HP while the player is walking around. The opposite of the Effect Poisoned Pokémon has. Or if there's an Item that can be created to be held and not consumed, so that only one Pokémon can recover HP at a time whilst walking.
I'm having issues getting fishing encounters of any kind. My game is all complete I thought I would fix it at the end, but for whatever reason I am unable to get any encounters through fishing. Any help ? I even set the step chance to the maximum percent and tried and still nothing with any of the rods in game. Everything else is working perfectly fine, just not getting any rod encounters whatsoever.
Hey so i got a question im making a pokemon rom hack but pokemon are replaced by dinosaurs and prehistoric animals and you need to dig fossils to get them and i wanna know how do i randomize the itames under the rocks like randomize what fossil you find where you dig you know so if you mine somewhere ic not just 1 it can be any fossil under any rock
i have another issue if u know how to fix it, when im scrolling through the menu in my game the cursor speed is riduclously fast and i cant select the text i want for example when im trying to selcet okemin encounters my cursor speed is going fat and its not clicking one at a time
Alright so this is a super specific question, but I watched your entire older tutrotial and I don't believed you covered these types of conditions. I'm working on a huge Pokemon Fan Gamea dn I'm setting up a Regigigas event. But, I want the player to have to catch the other 5 regis before the door will open to Regigias' Chamber. How to do I have an event tile check if the player has the other 5 regis in their party and then allow the door to open once the players do have all 5?

Are you using left ctrl, I think that may be the only one that works. Also, at least for me, it doesn't work either unless I wait for the command menu to pop up, and then I can hold ctrl. If I hold it before clicking play it doesn't work

For some reason the hold Ctrl + play doesn't do anything for me. I keep having to edit a PBS file manually for it to compile.
