    I have the exact truck; 2018 though. Was wanting to go 20x12s on 285/55 but after watching this video, this looks so much cleaner. Really don't want to worry about chips on the side of the truck either... Would love to see more videos. Truck looks real good 👍🏽

    For anyone reading 285 65 18 or equivalent will fit bone stock. In case you don't want to level for some reason.

    Installed this size with Ridge Grapplers on my 2018 GMC 1500 levelled by only Bilstien 5100s. Rubs only on a FULL crank on the UCA. Looks great. Thanks for the video. Helped a lot!

    • @jewllake

      my stock wheels rub on the upper control arm and have noticed it on my brother - in - law's stock z71. What setting do you have your Bilstien's on? I set mine on setting 3. How bad does it rub?

    • @bjames1794
      @bjames1794 4 года назад

      @@jewllake I have it on the 4th setting. It rubs it pretty good on Full lock. So like 30 degrees on that off road dashboard. You really have to crank it to be noticable. 3 weeks since installation. Just getting use to making a little wider turns in tight places and parking. I still recommend going with 295 55 20. It has the best stance better than the skinnier 275 60 20 my MPG dropped by 2.

      Guam Bat , sorry I meant to ask did the 275/60 tire “Rub” the upper control arm? Everything I’ve seen says it will because the backspacing on stock wheels is greater than 5. And did it not rub any where else?
      I’m sure your new wheels will not have this issue. Are you still using the 275/60 tire?

    • @guambat23

    It's still under warranty so I installed my lift kit myself and voided the warranty

      They wont void the warranty on levelling kits, at least my dealer doesn't. They didnt care that I put mine in myself. They said as long as I don't go over a 2" level theyll still honour the full warranty, including my suspension

      I'm sure at that setup, there is probably a zero offset

      Gustavo Sanchez It rides great. There is some road noise, but the tires ride smooth

  • @Ilikeryche

    IMHO The tires are way too aggressive. The truck is not 4WD correct? The tires scream OFF ROAD and the wheels, while nice seem more sporty than off road. I'd get different tires on those wheels and lower the truck if it was mine, but it ain't.

      Ilikeryche Yeah. That’s two totally different looks there. I’m not into lowered trucks unless they are classic 50s or 60s models.
