The most important message I got from this sermon is that we are not meant (and can not) change the terrible things that are happening or going to happen but rather we are meant to make sure our ship (faith) stays strong on the journey. I loved the comparison from the tv show "The Deadliest Catch." The fishermen can not calm the seas but they can use their skills to navigate the treacherous waters. Stay close to the Word of God, the Bible.
Many will cry Lord Lord and I will say I never knew you. Even those that are in the church know God but are unwilling to be transformed in order to be a bride ready for the groom.

When Francis said to judge the church, we shouldn't judge others but ourselves. I've did judging before and it only leads to arguments. Our battle is with spirit not the flesh.
If we all pray for God to change ourselves to be more like Him, it will lead others to Christ. It has worked for my husband. He saw a change in me and God lead him to change slowly through me.
Our flesh must die! Let's fight this battle together!

Wow, 2017- this Word from God is more than real as we go through Covid19 and social rioting.
I appreciate the example he sets for the Church. I do think we do a disservice when we idolize Francis, because his heart is to truly give all glory to God. I know I have looked at Francis as a hero, which isn't a problem, but I am always convicted when he teaches because of the challenge to focus on God, not godly men and women. Amen y'all!

Brother Francis' humble and devoted teaching of the Word of God has blessed me for years.
He is desperate, desperate, to please the Father and do His will in Messiah.
Recently, I've noticed some serious accusations and charges against him, and in my flesh, lol, I wanted to tell these people to get OUTTA here!
While I still appreciate Brother Chan's heart and believe His service honors the Father, I am beginning to understand the concerns and reservations others have expressed.
It's not that what he's teaching from the Word is wrong; it's about the potential for dangerous implications.
We would all agree that not everyone who says Lord, Lord ... truly knows Him and is known by Him, yes?
So, it can't be as easy as, "O, you confess Messiah? Let's go as one even as or just as Messiah and the Father are One."
People hear 'dangerous ecumenism' when he preaches this beautiful unity because we are forewarned about false teaching, false prophets, deception, wolves in sheep's clothing, apostasy ...
O this is a hard thing!
He has such a childlike enthusiasm for the Word and will of Yah. I do believe his heart is sincere, but ... given MESSIAH'S *OWN* warning that NOT all who confess Him are His, we have to be innocent as doves but wise as serpents with regard to pursuing this unity.
Unity is born of light and intimacy. In other words, it's my 'nobody' opinion, lol, that to be properly united to another, it takes time, openness, honesty, and understanding; you come to know them through relationship, whereby you discover you agree (holding fast to the same Y'shua, the same Gospel, the same faith, etc ... submitting to His revealed Word rather than imposing upon it), which enables you to "walk together." Amos 3:3
So, I think God's people in Messiah will manifest as one if they are truly and always seeking HIM FIRST.
Even if men misunderstand/misapply this teaching, the message itself is pure and true, praise be to Yah!

But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. There is only one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy.
I see more condemning and judgement in churches. I’ve seen so many (myself included) pushed away from god by the church. I’m just grateful that God never left me and has never let me feel comfortable until I came back to him.

The time of Jesus Christ second coming is soon. Look at all the biblical things happening in the world like natural disasters, people falling away from the Lord and many other things. Stay strong and blessed people of God.
This is spot on. A few of my christian friends have fallen for the lie that we need to love ourselves before we can love others. They use the bible verse 'love thy neighbor as yourself' and say that means they have to love themseves first. They are even taking themselves on dates.

The beginning of life just started
I live to please my Lord Jesus. In all things. If anyone wrongs me it's so easy to forgive my brothers or sisters as I love Jesus and it's easy to love my church family. When non believers curse me I see they are sick and in need of a doctor (Jesus). I am so sad those who are not saved as the place of hell is so horrible for the lost. The few days left b4 Jesus comes back.....makes me share the cross to try to stop them from going down into the pit.
I'm having a hard time sharing my faith and not being offended..
@@joolspools777 Jesus eyes are fixed on you every second. Jesus said to clear inside of the cup and outside would be clean. They seek the approval on men when he said they should seek to please God. When someone spits on you, dispises you, attacks you with their speech you need to understand they are sick and need a doctor. When you know Jesus return is so close and hell punishment is so severe you cannot stay quiet. When I share Christ it's because I actually love them and my heart is sorrowful knowing those who reject Jesus have no idea that God is a consuming fire. One who does not share Jesus is like the person who still has hidden sin. Read John 3:16 but read past it. Jesus talks about why people stay in shadows and not press into the light.
Imagine how bad it will be when the REAL "end of days" gets here!

Moonlit Oracle true that's why I dislike TV preachers like Joel Osteen and Joseph Prince, they don't teach the true gospel and teach about enjoying this life here and now. It's the opposite of what God taught. Too many people are blind believers and that's why I'm afraid for these fellow brothers and sister who don't study God's word or their beliefs. That's why they so easily fall out of their faith, they're talked out of it because they've never been talked into it. And never truly experienced an intimate one on one with God in prayer

manuel barron it is unfortunate that many of us pursue a connection with the “church” rather than Christ first and foremost. If you are rooted and grounded in God and his Word, YOU are “God’s church”, it is a church beyond the denomination, cult, orthodoxy, etc..... God will have a people.... The Jews, the Catholics, Adventist, Mormons, JW’s fill in the blanks; choose to worship their doctrines over Christ and Him Crucified. Keep your eyes on Jesus.
It brings joy beyond words to hear a man speaking in the power of the Holy Spirit the great truth of the Word of God. Father in heaven bless and keep us in Jesus Christ. About natural affection, while I think that sexual impropriety is a part of it. I think that it also means apathy towards others, I.e. without natural affection towards your neighbors ( socializing). Haven’t you noticed the fact that in a more global world we are more isolated than ever. No one leaves the house unless they have to, sometimes they don’t want to. We have more violence than before.
I love listening to Francis. It's so obvious while listening to him that he knows so much more about the Bible and Jesus than I do, and still it jumps at me when he misses the mark. I can tell he believes it to be true, but his lack of understanding of economy just jumps out at me. I cannot help but think how easy it is to see the speck in my brother's eye, rather then the beam in my own.
I want to pay attention and tell the truth, but its so much harder to see myself and what it is that I should do.
Social media has been a great tool for me to minister. It's easy to get caught up in a selfish world but thats why we have an armour because its a battle...not to be self centered. Nevermind the pressures of this world. Set your anchor in Him.
9:45 yes indeed, this IS the first generation EVER in which every person in the entire world, thanks to the Internet, facebook, RUclips, etc, has the opportunity to be a legend in their own mind. There was a time when only the elites and aristocrats were worshipped and adored. Now, EVERY ONE has the opportunity to feel how it feels to be worshipped by other humans (especially those that "crept in unawares" to the church long ago.) It's quite disturbing but it only makes my faith stronger when I see everything coming true that Jesus Christ and His Word told us would happen in these end days. This is the first sermon I have ever had to stop listening to from Francis Chan. The 2nd book of Timothy I hold very dear to my heart. I have been affected by abusers all my life. I was always the one who was loving and giving until I had nothing left to give. When he talks about loving yourself, I am learning to do that as well as set boundaries with others. I am trying to see myself through God's eyes. You do have to love yourself, have confidence and self-worth to navagate this world. With grace, I am healing in God's love.
We know that the plans of God are plans for life and not death, sure you have to care about yourself, but you have to kill your flesh, sounds crazy, but the truth is that we, that know Jesus as our savior, should recognize that the suffers of the present time can´t be compared to the glory that is yet to come. Forgiveness is power.

If you walk on the path of righteousness and truth you know that the people who are described in the second book of Timothy need deliverance. This is what I do. Adultury, porn, bragging about lying in front of their kids, deceit, etc. and some even trying to drag me into sin. It's awkward and lonely but this message really held me realize what's going on. I'll keep praying for them. We've tried to talk to them but they say, "no God knows life us messy. "

3 what we have seen and heard we proclaim to you also, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ.
4 These things we write, so that our joy may be made complete.
5 ¶ This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.
6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth;
7 but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Y’shua/Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.
Isaiah 2:3-5
3 And many peoples will come and say,
"Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD,
To the house of the God of Jacob;
That He may teach us concerning His ways
And that we may walk in His paths."
For the law/Torah will go forth from Zion
And the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
4 And He will judge between the nations,
And will render decisions for many peoples;
And they will hammer their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks.
Nation will not lift up sword against nation,
And never again will they learn war.
5 ¶ Come, house of Jacob, and let us walk in the light of the LORD.

I have been living in the last DAYS since the 1980's going on 40 years later I am starting to think how many days are these last days meant to actually last?

Hmmm... Well, how accurate were the signs back then juxtaposed to the signs now? Were so many signs true as they are now?
Blind Truth it’s foolish to claim we are in end times as if Jesus is coming back soon. No one knows when he is coming. Just because we are seeing signs of end times doesn’t mean it happens shortly after we see signs. It could be 500 years after or 50 years.
End times shouldn’t be the focus. We should be focusing on our walk with Jesus and witnessing to others.

The end of times occurs for people as soon as they die, and that's been happening since Able. The events that are taking place now are a sign for everyone though. If the 3rd temple is built, put on your brown pants.
Preaching honesty
There is a clarity in Scripture that God is bringing back to Jesus, a brighter outlook on the future and our outlook in purpose. This is a clarity in "last days" stuff. The last days, were the last days of the old covenant, not for now, but for the judgment that was brought by God upon Jerusalem around 70 ad. God needed the old priesthood system gone, and it happened, end of animal sacrifices, and it happened, and the temple was laid flat, just as Jesus said, it was done, roughly 1.5 million people left dead. It's about the transition of covenants, be the light of Jesus, spread the glory of Christ in you.
