That food looks sooooo good, this was a really nice video im glad in came into my feed and i enjoyed the hospitality continued blessings brother's and sisters ❤
Very nice, never been to Phili but spent a lot of time in Pittsburgh. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 And a Black owned Chinese Restaurant, now thats what I'm talkin 'bout. Viva Viva
I thought you were on Germantown and Lehigh my dad owned property in that area many moons ago it use to be a movie theater up the street that was also many moons ago.
When they first opened a couple years ago their chicken and shrimp egg fo young was popping. Fast forward its a real hit or miss. Sometimes the sauce for their wings just taste like straight sugar and sometimes the egg fo young is really good sometimes the gravy has no flavor and rice tastes old. They opeend a second location in Germantown I ordrered twice rood tase nothing like the orginal spot
They use to be at Lansdowne Ave I have eaten from them few times when I was working at toyota my boy told me about them they are clean and the food is real good they have chicken wings amazing now that I no where they at am stop by
I love that Chinese cuisine can be fully enjoyed here without having to worry about having a cat, rat or dog being chopped up and put into your food. 👍🏽😃
I haven’t had so called Chinese food in years because of many reasons regarding their food practices. Then we traveled to Ghana and realized that Chinese food sold in the states is really African food!! We ate from a Ghanaian Chinese restaurant-black owned also and the food was delicious!! We eat lawfully so we could try this place out it’s not too far from our home. Thanks for sharing @Unapologetic Nomads
PEACE AND BLESSINGS TO THE OWNER'S, WORKER'S, STAFF AND DEFINITELY THE COOKS,CHEF'S ARE OFFICIALLY OFFICIAL!!!! IF YOU WANT FLAVOR,BENEFICIAL NOURISHMENT. STEP IN AND SMELL BUT FEED YOURSELF!!!
THIS IS A BREATH OF FRESH AIR TO HEAR ABOUT, I DON’T LIVE IN PHILLY BUT MY TEMPLE HEADQUARTERS IS IN PHILLY, I PERSONALLY WON’T EAT CHINESE FOOD, BECAUSE I’VE NEVER GONE IN A CHINESE RESTAURANT AND THE FOOD SMELLED GOOD, AND THOSE RIBS, ARE UNRECOGNIZABLE, DON’T KNOW WHO THOSE RIBS CAME FROM AND NO ONE ELSE SEEMS TO KNOW EITHER! ANYWAY, I WILL DEFINITELY COME IN THE BLACK OWNED CHINESE RESTAURANT I’M SURE IT’S AMAZING! AND I BET IT SMELLS GOOD!
I went there a few months ago and I had the shrimp fried rice and fusion wings. The rice was just yellow rice with baby shrimp sitting on top. The rice was scooped out of a metal pan from the warmer and shrimp was placed on top. Not to mention the rice wasn’t fully cooked. The fusion wings was just ok. I’ll go back and try something different but I prefer to try a different location. I went to the Germantown Ave location.
It’s Chinese food! Done by black people. Black owned. Black people love “Chinese” food. So why wouldnt they capitalize on it. People complain about Chinese people with all these restaurants in the hood and when we open one we complain it’s not black.😂😂
@andreamatthews6486.... NO OFFENSE, BUT ALWAYS GO ON YOUR OWN EXPERIENCE, NEVER TAKE ANOTHER STRANGERS WORD WHO YOU DO NOT KNOW BUT TAKING THEIR ADVICE, ON BENEFICIAL NOURISHMENT? They have a 4.1 out 5 star rating on Google. You'd have to try it for yourself to be able to talk about it. Folks have gone to places and said it was bad. I've gone, and enjoyed my food. I don't go by what people say.
We tend to complain about other cultures appropriating our stuff and get mad. Yet, doing this is fine, which technically it is. Its just annoying seeing how some black people are such hypocrite when other cultures do this exact same thing
@@surge4006 you sound like a idiot. Especially when cultures around the world are constantly mimicking Black Americans. Go kick rocks 🍆 head. Keep your comments to yourself.
@Unmad There's nothing wrong with cultures embracing other cultures like in this video. But some of us in the black community tend to talk a lot about cultural appropriation when it comes to anything that we may have started and another culture mimics from music, food, style and even hairstyle, so stop the bs. Because imagine if a white person opened a soul food restaurant (which many probably did) and it called white fusion soul food SOME people wouldn't be as accepting as they are for this.
They already do, but it ain't Blk owned, nor 'soulfood'. They cook all kinda food. I went to an Asian pizza shop, and the pizza was just as good as the Italian pizzeria. I was like wow! Because back in the day, they were really bad at making pizza lol. 😅
Family ..? 😂😂😂 Besides it’s about time African American wakes up !!! You’ve been given them all this money for decades in and decades out. We’ve even heard of kosher Chinese restaurants ?
The next visit I make to Philly, I’m coming through. I’m coming to that jawn
As many times passing this Black own restaurant on Germantown ave (ole stumping grounds) never knew it existed. Be there this weekend
Forgive me, but when hearing Black owned Chinese spot, my mind immediately jumped to Don Cheadle in Rush Hour

There are plenty of vids of them cooking on their IG page.
