This is by far the best recording of this song that I can find. I personally don't care for the recordings with a full choir and excessive vibrato. I much prefer the sound of a single voice per part and the straight tone. I think it better conveys the beauty that is intrinsic to the music. I wasn't a fan of the tempo at first, but it's grown on me after multiple listens.
Even though this rendition isn't the tempo most people expect for this piece, i really to believe that it's the best. Each and every chord molds together, the tenderness of voices within sections really gives this piece a much deeper connection to it's meaning.
Who are these brilliant singers? The name "Score'sAnimation" led me to fear it would be a synthesised track, but nothing could be further from the truth! It's giving me tingles!

"Thou art my joy!" It doesn't get any better than that does it?!
I forgot about this piece for years and remembered singing it once I saw it here

This is a fantastic performance. Well done, guys: lovely ensemble, dynamics, tone, pitching and expression.
Never heard this one before - BEAUTIFUL!
E' un brano bellissimo, dolcissimo, con armonie che danno serenità e felicità....molto ben eseguito....BRAVI!

as mentioned in the caption, it's Apollo5! they're a wonderful group
I still remember singing this for UIL in high school!
Sehr gute Interpretation, danke
Thanks, but 1) You should mention the vocal group 2) You should use a musically correct score, this is hard to read (it says C when it should be B##).
What's up with that C on measure 13 on the tenor?... Isn't it supposed to be a B#?
Yes, it should be a B#!
Yes, same in m. 14! Strange.
This entire score is an enharmonic mess.
