Y'all need to do more videos like this.. spread the love through out the rodeo sport.. steer wrestling. Tie down roping. Bronc riding. And so on.. j.b. is a living legend. But there are other legends still playing the game out there too.

I'm a musician from Boston MA. I've really gotten Into this PBR thing. These guys are F'n tough, not doubt. JB seems really down to earth. Good on him. The sport is fun to watch. Ive always been into rough sports (MMA, Boxing, ETC). these guys are right up there if not more. Keep it up. you guys rock in my book.

I couldn’t agree more that riding a horse helps with leg and core muscle, balances and understanding how a 4 legged creature moves. I wonder when he retires if he’ll do a bull riding school or something

Very well done. He's right about bull riders who can't ride a horse. Believe or not, I've met a few team ropers that didn't know the difference between a left lead and a right lead. They weren't pros, they just had horses that because of muscle memory knew what to do to get them in the right position to throw a loop.
Because they could read a cow or they were taught to rate stock. Some hores or dogs have it some have to be taught.
JB is the equivalent to Kobe Bryant of Basketball,,his work ethics is awesome and works hard to get where he's at...Donnie and JB are the GOAT of Bulling Riding...❤

great piece and wonderful photography. couple things got me f,d up when did Wade start riding bulls he is in my opinion the best bronc rider going today when did they move Mooresville to Oklahoma and when did JB learn to cowboy like that good heel loop in tall grass no easy feat nice grey horse he rides him very well with a light hand on the bridle and I wonder if he still has Tim Cox's old white international that I saw on the documentary I watched Danny Sharp and Matt Baldwin build it

JB rode with my cousin Justin Atkinson in the JR SRCA rodeo in the younger days with brian Canter and others. JB is a true all around Cowboy and is the last of a dying breed. he has worked hard and came a very long way and his name and legacy will travel among the greats Tuff Heideman Lane Frost and others. JB reminds me so much of Lane Frost with his drive his love and dedication to the life of being a cowboy and bull rider and his easy going big hearted personality, anyone who knows JB mauney personally knows he has a heart of gold under that ole hat. i love how he is showing the cowboy life down to his daugter teaching her the cowboy ways of life and im sure if he has any more children he will do the same with them. i do the same with my children, i am a full time all around cowboy and have a beautiful 3 yr old daughter and i am passing the cowboy ways right down to her and she truly loves what daddy does, JB's daughter reminds me of my little girl, i know his daughter loves her dad but she truely dont know just how awesome of a dad and rolemodel she has, he is a very good cowboy good honest hard working man great father and is dedicated to his love of bullriding and is a hell of a bull rider at that. jb is just one of those guys that everyone loves and is a great friend to have. way to go JB keep up the great work!! Cowboy UP!

They have protested and complained about this sport and little do they realize that these bulls live a much more fabulous life on the rodeo circuit than they would being turned out in a pasture. They're much more healthier and maintained on the pbr circuit. They have to be, if they weren't healthy and athletic bulls then the pbr circuit would not have as much success cause the bulls would be boring then.
