@@GloKaze I don't blame you because in the Sonic 2 it is a magenta color and when the background is dark behind it, it definitely looks purple sometimes.
You should have skipped the Shadow Rival battle and leave it for later. Since the rival battles aren't required for progression untill you get to the Time Eater boss gate, you could have potentially reached the end of the game that way.

You touched purple many times in green hill act 1 and 2 the rocks r purple and the motobugs have purple faces in chemical planet act 2 you touched green by the gold boost jump pad because it had a green arrow for sky sanctuary you touched blue by the blue floor glass and by the check point for the death egg boss battle there was cyan in the begging of the boss cause there were cyan lights and for sea side hill act 1 you touched the egg pawns gun
