    Well, I found some useful videos on RUclips before but this changed everything. Apologies, this might be long. I purchased three (sleeping one, standard moulded ear protection and one with 3.5 m jack) different ear moulds from Ultimate ear four years ago. I use predominantly 3.5m to plug on my phone and listen audio, not an ideal but it did the job. Las year, I spent £300 and got top of the range Cardo Bluetooth intercoms and installed on my full face helmet. Unfortunate, the sound quality even with upgraded speakers was at best rubbish. Annoyed and frustrated I have given up on them and retuned to use 3.5m jack with my phone until today. Half way through the video I run to my garage to see if Carco speakers come with 3.5 female jack, which they did and plugged to the make 3.5 connector (moulded ear plug)! What transformation. The sound quality is phenomenon. I was about to throw away Cardo Bluetooth intercoms and look for different options but your video changed everything. Thank you so much for sharing it with us…..and yes, I ride R1200GSA. 😂

    They look great however a word of warning if you're planning to use them when touring in Spain. In ear speakers are illegal while driving or riding and if caught will attract a hefty fine. They also used to fine you for in-helmet speakers however there was a stated case where the judge ruled that speakers in a helmet were no different to speakers in a car so they are now permitted.

    UltimateEar modified the integrated Schuberth comms system in my C3 helmet back in 2014 or 2015 replacing the speakers for a 3.5mm female connector so that I could use a set of SoundEars, so this was not the first time that they have done something like this for a customer. They do provide a great service. I did not recall you saying how much they were now charging to provide this service.

    They look good, be nice to hear my music while riding Mark. I recently got my bike back on the road and have been using a pair of those foam ear defenders that you roll in your fingers before inserting into your ear. However it did occur to me that a really good seal might be made from household silicon. Anybody tried this and what was the result like?

    • @RiderCamTV
      @RiderCamTV  Год назад

      Used to use the foam ones and they worked well, but you can’t get better than moulded plugs

    Still recommend these ? Are you sponsored or get kick backs for these in anyway ? Tbh I’m not so interested in the music , how are they for db level sound deadening ?

    • @RiderCamTV
      @RiderCamTV  10 месяцев назад

      Hey. No we aren’t sponsored by them but totally recommend them. Best ear plugs on the market and are brilliant at sound deadening. It’s not necessarily the volume of sound it’s the frequency of the wind and noise that damages your ears and these are great. If you have a cardo system they will plug straight in too. And the volume is great

    Gents, useful video. I did buy the Soundearpro and whilst I can obviously adjust music, it’s alarming how loud my Cardo voice is (low battery, peeping etc) compared to the music once playing. Did you guys ever suss how to reduce this and not just the obvious volumes? (If that makes sense?)

    • @RiderCamTV
      @RiderCamTV  Год назад +1

      Hey. Yeah they are fantastic but I had the same issue. Voice and sound hone ring tone blew my head off so I got a cheap in line volume control from Amazon. About £7 I think and now I set the volume on there to low so the ringtone doesn’t blow my ear drums and then control the music with ‘hey cardo volume up’ etc. hope this helps
