This how much RUclips matters….I seen Kid Chaos for the 1st time on URL and after his first battle I seen on RUclips,I searched his name and watched every last battle he had on RUclips!!! Many other people did too cause his battles had hundreds of views and now they got 10’s of thousands!!!! RUclips is definitely prevalent in promoting Battle Rappers
The app was creating b4 caffeine deal. I remember heads were complaining about it crashing non-stop when it first came out.

I can't tell you who's a new battler because I stop paying for the app because they were not dropping battles. I can tell you who Suge, Big T, O Red, Tone Montana, B Magic, Yung Ill, Danja Jone, and others are because of RUclips.

That's not how things work. URL owns the footage of the battle. They can put it ANYWHERE they want. On RUclips, on an App, on a DVD, or wherever. Smack doesn't need Daylyt permission to move his own footage back n forth between RUclips or the App. And RUclips doesn't dictate what Smack footage STAYS on their platform. Neither does Daylyt. Nor Mike P.

For example: if your footage is on the App... the SMART thing to do is "promote the App" & encourage new people to pay/subscribe, so they can SEE your work... because the more money the App makes, the more money you will get paid from URL to battle in the future.
But everyone wants shit FOR FREE. So they don't think with a business mindset.

Instead of cosntantly bitching about "RUclips drops"... invest in the Water Company itself (which is URL) instead. (i.e. Think like a BOSS. Not like a worker.)
But if you (or Daylyt) don't like the fact that URL is 'breaking promises' to put videos on RUclips so they can keep losing money... there is a VERY simple solution...

URL should be using their RUclips channel to create new stars. The app should only have certain tier battlers on it. Build up rappers on the RUclips until they get popular enough that their fans want to see them on the app.

Facts I've been saying this for ages they literally have it backwards because otherwise they built there stars and the stars want to leave and go to RUclips- EAZY is the prime example they invested in him and now they've lost that investment.. It NEEDS to be the other way around - even if they share RUclips and Apps drops then after 6 months take it off RUclips

URL would get more money if they uploaded battles to RUclips after they’ve been on the app for maybe 6- months to a year. Old battles still have ads on them. Even if the ad revenue is limited, it’s still something extra
RUclips pays very little and they will not monetize the cursing, the guns and the homophobia in the battles. RUclips is censoring more, those days are over.
NOT saying i disagree with you personally. The problem with that is the people who pay for the app and those battles would complain or drop the app all together, so there's still some negative to doing that
I feel like releasing them on youtube after some time is pretty reasonable. Major movies hit cable, boxing is on RUclips now, even some major artists still put music on SoundCloud (which is a free platform). That’s just a part of business and being smart.

URL owns the footage. Daylyt sounds crazy. He was compensated for his service but URL owns the footage. U can’t tell them what to do with what they own. He can’t even sue them. They’d throw his case out of court.

See the thing is, you have guys like Day who had YT exposure but did nothing with it. YOU STILL HAVE TO WORK. Smack cant get the quality footage, venues and connections without the revenue coming in from the app. They go back to YT, nobody gonna get the money they want then they gonna cry about that. You can be famous and struggling or get the money and reinvest it into marketing yourself outside of URL.
They think YT the answer. You have to make your money work for you
I think day is a bad example of the point you’re trying to make because he def has motion outside of battle rap that he wouldn’t have had without RUclips. More exposure equals more opportunities. But hey I hope this shift is really paying off like that for these battlers and not just the league owners in the long run.

I want them for free on RUclips but they don't do it anymore becuz they want more money. Just like other businesses. Start reading your damn contracts and talk about what u do and don't want. Them removing it from RUclips is weird, but they clearly own the footage and can do what they want with it.

No battler ever got hot because of the App. RUclips made Battle Rap bigger. Then DRAKE’s involvement with Battle rap is what connected URL and Caffeine. Caffeine made the newer battle rappers hot because it was FOR FREE like RUclips (but live) AND the fact the world shut down from Covid so it was our only real form of entertainment. We were watching battles over Skype we were so bored. URL has greatly misjudged the App, but for their business it’s good.
