BK in New Zealand means only one thing .Hardline incoming and I can’t wait. Love your content over there Bernard👊.On a side not that insta camera stabilisation doesn’t look great. Chest harness too loose maybe.🤷🏼. Good luck champ.🤞
Apparently there’s an incredible invention that’s been around for a couple years; not sure you’ve ever heard of it, I believe some people call the GLOVES! I think they help with cold days and also crashing o to your hands. You wear them on your hands. It’s quite something! 😂❤
Needing to see some RallyCross in the Honda🎉 As previously mentioned elesewhere, I can confirm it’s good at it (from 1990), although I did have to undertake a little repair job after one session (the rear suspension collapsed, but it was worth it 😊) PS: Shout out to Jenna who’s riding is so improved this last few months (keep up the squats and bench presses young lady🎉)
Putting dirt on the rotors adds extra abrasion to the rotor and pads speeding up the wear on the top layer. This speeds up the bed in process and is also sometimes effective if your breaks are contaminated also by taking off the top layer. Useful technique for out on the trails. Another option is to use water to help take the top layer of the pads off.
Its actually only a placebo. The rotors are of course designed to remove dirt quickly, so it doesnt do that much. If you want to speed up bedding in, take sandpaper to the pads and rotor before your first ride. Or use Galfer Pro pads, they require no bedding in at all (new rotors still do, though). What dirt can do is help you in a pinch should you find your rotors contaminated with oil. You can use it to rub most of it off before getting it on your pads and end your ride right there.
It only works on new discs. It’s the discs he’s worried about not the pads, the abrasive speeds up the ‘bed in’ which is basically scratching up that freshly machined surface. Never add or sand anything if all you have is new pads cos the pads need to match to the disc surface not the dirt.
Why don't you try a chin mount? I live in NZ but on the north island but next year im going to queenstown and can'tt wait to check out these sick tracks
Yeah BK not in a bad way to start the year certainly a lot better than drinking a liter bottle of Jack Daniels with your brother good at the time but I regretted it this morning 😂😂 HNYE
Love the squeaky brakes Bernard. Gives us all an insight to how little you use the brakes.

BK can this be the year where you set the video up with a little story telling? The folks need to know who, what, why, where, and when!
BK is the BKing of anything on 2 wheels.
Ad Brayton is the man on a trials bike though…
You so awesome Happy New Years
Putting "stuff" on the rotors, never heard of that one before, thought one would want to keep them as clean as possible, interesting 😀 👍

Just ask Guy Martin. He puts sand on them before riding. But these are options only if you have the sponies😂
Tbh I love watching Bernard ride a trail bike and just rip it around.
Do you guys still ride the Mach 5.5
those trials bike are impressive on the uphill tho
Happy New Year!
