I'd say "There's an option for it if you press START during the match and go to Voice " BUT I've had multiple players slip through this and it requires me to toggle it off then back on again to REmute them.
If you're on console there's a way to mute it all in your voice settings. I did it and all I see is their mic turning on but can't hear them. Funny to think they're just silently railing at me
My theory is that it's a leftover code carried over from the story mode. It kinda makes sense that to make story mode easier and more accessible, the P1, the player, is given an advantage over the enemy AI, who is always on the P2 side in story mode. It's not really noticeable, but replaying it again, I'd often notice the CPU dropping relatively simple combos to give me an opening in story mode.
@@AirLancer Maybe so. But considering the main target market demographic for MK has always been the average, layman gamer, I wouldn't be surprised either. If you know about basic fighting game fundamentals, you're already way ahead of most of MK's main target audience. I wouldn't be surprised if that comes into consideration when designing the story mode.
i just wish they would give us the option of a traditional throw break or a more linient window. its frustrating as a new player failing a break for even trying. I've practiced at least 9 hours collectively just on breaking throws but to no avail.
I don’t know that a traditional throw break would help it was just be more inputs instead of pressing 1 or 2 Tech window timing is definitly shorter though . Online it’s like half anticipating half reacting to the throw . Offline is way easier to throw break. Takes awhile to get down but you got it bro
@@amoff2009 well i use the bumper to throw and the 1-2 i understand, though i still fumble with it. i just think it would be better to give the option to, not replace, use back or forward + throw to break as frustration comes from being punished or failing entirely from just attempting to break in my experience but thats just me.
@amoff2009 honestly I think the way SF6 ( i don't know about other steer fighters ) handles its throw tech. To counter a throw you press throw, regardless of direction, but the input window is like half a second after the grab

Of course it’s still in beta. it’s 2023. Everyone should know by now you’re paying for the privilege of beta testing their game. Smart people wait 3 years for the “komplete “ version.
@Rebazar Not always true, I could still find plenty of people to play in 10 and 11 well after 3 years of them dropping. Same for sc6 and other fighting games...
More nonsense being spewed. Who the hell wants to wait 3-4 years. The fact of the matter games will never have 100 percent bug free deployment. Tell me what software have you ever had that never had any bugs or code that needed to be adjusted.
MKX was the last mortal kombat I pre-ordered and played on release. To this day I still don't regret doing that..If I did the same for MK11 or MK1 I definitely would've regretted it 😂 It's actually sad that 8 years later I can say that despite 2 more games coming out 😐
MK11's biggest problem on release was the towers being insanely difficult. The systems at large were fine when it came to playing people online. In that game, you can actually decline bad connections mind you.
MKX was the last good MK . I’m literally in the same boat as you. I skipped mk11 cause it looked mid . I really wanted to get back into MK so I gave this game a chance. 120$ down the drain. L

People who dunno the difference between bugs and an unfinished product show they're oblivious to game development or any other software development for that matter 😂😂. Bugs slip through the cracks every time when developing software, it's normal. Some bugs are worse than others but it's always a continuous process to test and improve on software, it's almost never a one-and-done thing. So I think people are being a bit too harsh on the bugs. Think of it as they missed some spots, albeit very important, when ironing out the game, they didn't rush to put out an incomplete game like c'mon 😂
What about the fact that we can't complete all the achievements/trophies because all the content isnt available yet. I'm talking about the one that says "Komplete a Titan Battle."
I been playing fighting games for since i was 10 and now Im 42! The player 1 advantage bug is huge but all this complaining about a fighting game this good is not cool 😢! Yes Im wired and I have to play wireless laggy and i wish I could decline but o well Im having a blast
