namek goku is a great unit, amazing art, very fun to play, and a nice counter for vb. it's just that current units are too broken.

Here's a scary thought. Super Vegeta, Namek Goku and SSJ Bardock helping them with his support buffs. That sounds scary with how much these units can combo in the right situation.
Granted its about as durable as a wet napkin. But it would hit like a flaming dumptruck.
and you can always just Zenkai boost the shit out of Nameku if you need someone to carry the whole match if Vegeta dies

FACTS
For the lock in to work you need Nameku's unique gauge to be full. Yours weren't, that's why your opponent could switch.
I kept mixing it up thinking so long as the unique gauge had filled ONCE you'd get the lock-in, in my defense this was recorded rather late for me lol.
@@Raiyudennot sure if you knew in the video but you also get half the gauge when you main and you already filled the gauge once

He's a free to play character from a Goku day event in the special tab. There's also a base, ssj, and etc forms of him in that event.

Namek Goku's art is so good, too bad hes not that good in the meta right now. Nameku and Vegeta work really well together, probably because theyre both super saiyans

He's good in this meta wdym? Some of the best characters are red and there's not alot of green units

Bro, this Goku cook almost everything. He's a blu Sayajin and Son Fam. This makes it very versatile for zenkai buffs. I use Shallot, Nameku 2.0 and Bardoku. For buffs, Ssj3 LF zenkai Goku, Cheatku and blu Pan. With this team, I fight against meta without any problem. Gohan is his victim. Even Gohan gets neutral, Goku's main cancel upgrades and buffs and charges the unique gauge by 50%. Ult lock and bye bye Gohan or any other red. On neutrals, his ult hit like a truck too
Goku is 100 folds better than vegeta 💀
Yeah you’d be surprised that although he’s a Melee Type he’s also Reduce Ki’s whenever he got himself hit so im surprised by that Ability of him

He’s ok but ultimate can be very good because faint.
The poor guy is supreme levels of poo, they used him as a throwaway to give the Buu Bros a Zenkai buff. The best MBS team was Buu Bros leadered with a Regen setup.

Damn, that first guy was really good with his neutral game. He was getting priority pretty cleanly for most of the match.

My main team for ‘normal’ pvp is ULUI, Red Beast, and this Goku with Zenkai Blue Namek Goku, LFSS4 Goku and LF Bardock

Hi, Raiyuden. May I suggest a team consisting of the green and red world tournament Goku (green) and Piccolo (red) with Yellow Jiren? I main this team for a total of 4 DBs that can be destroyed, 4 stat buff wipes, and a damage buff from Goku. It's constant pressure while keeping my enemies in a neutral power state. The match will always be in your control if you play it right.

Hey Raiyuden, arent you at a severe disadvantage placing your units that you are gonna use at the top? Its like your opponent cpuld prepare in the team preview vs your team
You should try LF Nameku, LF Super Vegeta, and LF Green SSJ Trunks. Not the best team, but just a fun little one. Triple SSJ goats on one team.

Tbh, I think that Super Vegeta might be a Pikkon type of unit. Sure, Pikkon was underwhelming when he first released, but he better overtime and gained more value. Or maybe they’ll give Super Vegeta that GoFreiza treatment.
Ironic that long ago when i first time played dragon ball legends the old Red SSJ(namek) Goku and Yellow SSJ(Cell Saga) Vegeta who are both now zenkaied i always put them together in the same team😅 but now since these two new versions of them selves appeard imma team them up again.... if i have them that is. . . =_=

I’ve been running namek goku with super vegeta ever since I got vegeta and I can confirm goku performs much better
I wanted to make these two into a team but i don’t have goku
Vegeta preformed dead last on a team where he was the newest unit also orange piccolo almost clutched up
Goku was meant as a counter to UVB. Then the game decided to release units that are immune to Ki Reduction which basically was big L for Namek Goku. He also lacks type Neutrality anywhere in his kit, but that said.... you shouldn't even compare this Goku to the newly released Super Vegeta. This Goku as a unit is leagues above that super vegeta. Their kit has absolutely NO similarity. Vegeta's gauge charge type is straight up bad. Goku's gauge is extremely easy to charge up. And with the release of UI Goku and for as long as he stays in the meta, all Melee units will have a hard time doing a combo.
lf pikkon's release and 4geta's zenkai also made him fell off even more.
Gotta make a 6x zenkai buffed purple ssj2 gohan
So Raiyu, when you swap into someone and use their main into ult it only drops when it's a strike. I don't know why, but it is. Still, it worked in your favor
