Thank you Rudy
I like your Video
Y’all setting em up to lay em down, great idea
I was watching a video where you were looking for a recipe for crappie cakes well, these are more like fritters than cakes but you might like them. It's been awhile since we made them but here goes____ One box of stove top dressing. Mix according to directions. Add some crab meat thentake two nice sized crappie filets and lace one side together with a couple of toothpicks. Turn them over and stuff with stuffing and crab. lace up the open side with toothpicks. Deep fry until golden brown. It's gonna be tricky at first keeping the stuffing inside but don't give up. Dip in tarter sauce. And or hot sauce..enjoy!!!!!!!!!!
Stoked!! Love it! 🙌👐💪❤️

Come on Dee been missing your video, it's almost that crappie / white perch time again. I see you making up those brush tops spots, shoot video on these brush tops. Want to see them slabs come out there
That all looks like crappie water to me. Nice! Adding the branches is brilliant.
This was interesting, creating a small habitat for fish.
6:50 LOL
Don’t know if you’ve ever done this but I learned it on the Mississippi River from a commercial fisherman friend of mine. He would go into little pockets off the river that had no structure for crappie to hang around and just cut some saplings or cane long enough to stick down into the mud and make a line in about 7-9 feet of water spaced about 20 feet apart so you could fish all the way around a pole without disturbing the next one. The secret was to be as stealthy as.possible and swing out and drop the jig just past the pole and let it drop slowly beside it to the bottom then bring it up a little and let it hang with no action for longer than you think necessary. If the crappie are active you will sometimes have them hit before the jig is in the water good or slam it on the way down. If they have lockjaw and it’s looking like a possible skunk day a lot of times they will hang inactive around the base of the pole and that jig hanging insolently in their face bumping their nose will sometimes piss them off just enough to suck it up. I always let my line run over one finger and under another as l hold my pole so I can gently bounce my jig slightly every 3-4 seconds and feel the weight of the jig bounce. When I do that and don’t feel that weight I know that sleepy slab has sucked it up and is fixing to figure out it’s not his brand and spit it right back out. It’s all in the wrist at that point, you have to snatch that jig up into his grill and start pulling him away from that pole before he can wrap around it and get the leverage to break off. If he does wrap around but stays on you can usually pull the pole up out of the mud and get your slab or at least your jig back if he made good on his escape. I’ve done this trick on lakes I didn’t know well, I carry some limb loppers and go up the bank and cut some saplings or long straight limbs and set up a short line then go to a different area and set up another. I’ve come back to the first line in as little as thirty minutes and caught fish on the new poles. I guess they can’t help but stop and check out any structure for food and a single pole is enough to grab their attention. I find that leaving them alone for 30-45 minutes will reload some new customers ,at least on times that they are actively feeding. It’s called making your own luck. Enjoy the show, good luck
Thank you very much for the awesome tips.
I love ur videos keep it up family
Thank you Barry

Its crazy when people hear snake spit they think its actually snake spit . it has nothing at all to do with snakes its just bugs . it comes from spittle bugs they create a foam like substance as they feed on the plant .
