Bill Ward always considered himself a “percussionist” of many genres that he molded into Black Sabbath. Fav Drummers: John Bonham (Led Zeppelin), Bill Ward ( BLACK SABBATH) & Neil Peart (RUSH).
I started playing guitar because of this song/album. Vol. 4 changed my life. I have been playing 45 years now, and play at least one or two sabbath songs every day.
In the backround there is this amazing tempo and the guitar take you to a trip to freedom.Just brilliant.70s Black Sabbath s music is food for the soul
Dude - I'm 61. Got this album (I think) in '74, Wheels of Confusion is still one of my favorite songs, and is my favorite Sabbath song. How they created such a dynamic sound with their straightforward approach is still a feat that few bands can match.
This was one of the songs the arena played during the intermission between ZZ Top and Deep Purple when I saw them in '73. Turned me on to Black Sabbath.
I was listening to Black Sabbath Vol 4 all week long last week and it’s such a classic great sabbath album. Wheels of confusion opens this album and the songs following are filled some of the greatest Iommi riffs ever. I always look forward to when Snowblind comes next mid way through the album. Iconic band for sure🤘🏽
Long Beach arena 1974 one of the things that sticks in my mind and will never go away was i was screaming at the top of my lungs for them to play this song for there encore toward end of a awesome show 14th row from the stage after what was 3 minutes of the croud not letting up they came back out and played wheels of confusion roaring thru massive walls of amplifiers i get chills thinking about that space in my mind from the past. Ufo was there back up band another great Band .Have a listen to Getting Ready bye UFO . Keep up the good work.
That second section is called The Straightener. On some releases the two were labelled together as Wheels of Confusion, and many fans are unaware they're actually two songs.
How F***ing ....awesome. I have another Black Sabbath I know you and my fellow subscribers would love to hear is "Spiral Architect" from Sabbath Bloody Sabbath....the album release just the next year after Vol.IV Wheels of Confusion 1972.....Thanks for listening to our requests!! More on a melodic, intrinsic theme.....sort of a departure from the more 'angry' tone of the earlier Sabbath songs however un-mistakenly still Sabbath in their prime.
You Two Rock! I have been listening to Sabbath since 1969 and to watch you hear songs like this for the first time takes me back to when I first started listening. #BlackSabbath Laguna Sunrise a song you would never expect from Sabbath (not heavy).
Thank you so much """ Rock on .Do Ozzy Momma I'm coming home . Makes me think of my Mom. I'm not that good on a computer but keep pushing . Thanks for your dedication.
#painintheask Bkack Sabbath has a lot of great songs, but one is my favorite THE SHINNING from the 1987 Eternal Idol album with Tony Martin in vocals, I'd love your reaction please . I love your channel❤️❤️❤️ Greetings from Medellín-Colombia
Always in my top 5 and BS at their best. V 4 is real juice ...no artificial ingredients, with genius experimental percussion, ask me., Bass and drums are in love... Course I'm a old geezer now :0)
This is the music I grew up with I think you and your wife might like some of Black Sabbath instrumental songs Laguna Sunrise, Fluff and Planet Caravan
Check out a band from San Francisco called Orchid. Sabbath worship to the max.. but in a good way especially a song called see you on the other side, enjoy!!
There were lyrics in that dam last Solo, they were in our thoughts, great reaction too guys, here's a reaction that will please every Sabbath fan,War Pigs (basement tapes)every word is different from the original it seems, can't remember right now but, but there is one with and some without the lyrics, nice change up after the original, alright guys, Peace!!!💀
#PinkFloyd Another great reaction to an amazing Sabbath tune! Still remember when my best friend brought over Vol. 4 album to listen to - this song just floored me. I knew it was Sabbath (Ozzy does have an unmistakable voice), but the music...just amazing (it always is, but this was different - especially the instrumental interlude at the end - called 'The Straightener' - ridiculous groove!!) It is too bad pieces like this don't get radio play, because it's a shame they get overlooked by the general masses, until you start delving more into their catalogue! I'd like to recommend a few other 'off the beaten path' Sabbath tunes: 'Solitude' (if you REALLY want something that sounds un-Sabbath like, from Master Of Reality), After Forever or Into the Void (are also Master notables); Hole In The Sky or Symptom Of The Universe (off Sabotage); NIB (off first album - a definite must listen); Sabra Cadabra (off Sabbath Bloody Sabbath), also A National Acrobat or Spiral Architect (off the same...). So many - you will likely become HUGE Sabbath fans - they ARE the godfathers of Metal!! \m/
Just as a bit of info, right after Rich says "we're not done yet" is the transition to another song, called "The Straightener". In fact, the title of this track in the album is "Wheels of Confusion / The Straightener". :D
Wheels of Confusion is a pretty good song off the Vol. 4 album. But I always thought the best song from that same album was Supernaut. It wasn't for nothing that song was a favorite of Frank Zappa and John Bonham and it has one of the heaviest guitar riffs in rock. How about turning things up a notch and reviewing that song in the near future.
#Nektar Remember the Future Full Album Falkirk Scotland. One of my favourite albums of the 70s. You guys are great, can't get to sleep without seeing a few of your reactions first. Excellent!

The double-tracked guitar outro on this song is the single most underrated black sabbath masterpiece ever. It's really fucking amazing
Bill Ward (The Drummer) just puts on a clinic in this one.
100%. One of the best yet most underrated drummers of that era.
@@cobrasys - puts on a clinic, damn near every song ever...
Bill Ward always considered himself a “percussionist” of many genres that he molded into Black Sabbath.
Fav Drummers: John Bonham (Led Zeppelin), Bill Ward ( BLACK SABBATH) & Neil Peart (RUSH).
Wow. 50 years old and still sounds fresh. How good were Geezer and Bill in the background!
Yeah I'm 55 and this sounds better than ever!
I started playing guitar because of this song/album. Vol. 4 changed my life. I have been playing 45 years now, and play at least one or two sabbath songs every day.
I can listen to Vol 4 every day.It s genius stuff.I dont know what critics say in their lists.Greatest rock LP of 70s
In the backround there is this amazing tempo and the guitar take you to a trip to freedom.Just brilliant.70s Black Sabbath s music is food for the soul
Absolute killer track OZZY is the inner soul of the composition. Forever VOL.4
it was 1972, I was 13 years old, this was the advanced creative music at this time, even much better today at 60
What’s it like being 60?
Dude - I'm 61. Got this album (I think) in '74, Wheels of Confusion is still one of my favorite songs, and is my favorite Sabbath song. How they created such a dynamic sound with their straightforward approach is still a feat that few bands can match.

Every song off the first six Black Sabbath albums 😁👹
@Heavy Metal Rules, I've always thought that Sabbath created metal, Priest defined it, and Maiden perfected it. But that’s just my opinion...
I used to party with Ozzy.
Hackasawrus Rex preach brother 🙏
@Heavy Metal Rules Totally agree.
I agree, those albums can compete with any bands' work.
Bill Ward is a monster on the drums. He's my favorite drummer in the hard rock/metal genre.
Eric F krackenthorpe For me it doesn’t matter what genre. Because Bill Ward is my favourite drummer of all time ever.
@@shspurs1342 absolutely!! My fave all time drummer
Ian Paice is jazzy too
INTO THE VOID
This was one of the songs the arena played during the intermission between ZZ Top and Deep Purple when I saw them in '73. Turned me on to Black Sabbath.
Opened so many doors to modern hard rock /metal, Toni was ahead of his time!
That guitar tone, Tony Freaking Iommi. The band is locked in and Ozzy just brings it
Love that ending. Stunningly beautiful!! 🎸
@7:50 I picture riding a bike on a lonely road. Just me and my thoughts and nature.
At least 3 songs in every song.
Black Sabbath = value for money.
I was listening to Black Sabbath Vol 4 all week long last week and it’s such a classic great sabbath album. Wheels of confusion opens this album and the songs following are filled some of the greatest Iommi riffs ever. I always look forward to when Snowblind comes next mid way through the album. Under The Sun is an amazing closer too! Those mighty riffs all throughout the song!
All Sabbath is acceptable. Thank you. Awesome job.
My all time favorite band. :)
I play this song alot recently,it cheers me up,
Loving the chanel,peace
And in the words of Ozzy
Love you all
You and someone else are the only 2 reactors to this song and so epic
Is there any doubt that this band laid the foundation of heavy metal? Those riffs are just so f’n heavy
you two bopping in sync together made me smile.
Awesome! So happy that ya'll included The Straightener.
You got down to the deep end pretty quick :) Wheels and Under The Sun are the two hardcore classics off this magnificent experimental album.

#blacksabbath The Sign Of The Southern Cross. Great Sabbath/Dio song!
One of my favorite Sabbath songs!
That second section is called The Straightener. On some releases the two were labelled together as Wheels of Confusion, and many fans are unaware they're actually two songs.
i had no idea. Thanks
Can’t go wrong with Sabbath they paved the way for the heaviness
That intro is like no other
Snowblind and After Forever
And into the void
They already did it for my buddy led Rushmore

Christmas 1974..................... my #1 present
Some things never get old 😝😝
The song Black Sabbath. The 1st song of the 1st album
That's intense. I mean too dark for most rock/metal fans.
that angel/demon logo is my first tattoo that ive gotten! freakin love sabbath man just the best.
Could you imagine hearing this in 1972. Absolutely mindblowing.
Bill Ward shines on this song... so cool.
Ah I love this album. Master, Volume 4 and Bloody Sabbath are my favourites. #painintheask A National Acrobat
Walamonga 1313 and spiral architect 👍
Megalomania from " Sabotage"!!!
Those lyrics are divine you know!
🤘 Black Sabbath, formerly Polka Tulk Blues Band 🤘
#blacksabbath Black Sabbath - Megalomania
Burgundy: "Let's dance, dickweed."
Mantooth: "You wanna dance, Ronnie? I wanna Polka."
Megalomania is just such an intense song. You have to be in the mood to go with it. It's just crazy.
'Spiral Architect' would be a great song from Sabbath..... it was from the 1972-73 years which are my favorite from them.
The true "FATHERS" of Metal ...all hail

I saw Black Sabbath with Blue Oyster Cult in the 70's (Not sure what year). It was know as the Black & Blue Tour.
After forever 👍
Used to spend hours listening to this album as a teenager. Sitting with my headphones on and just getting taken away with the music.
Vol 4 is the best of the best
Best sabbath song
There is the time to stop head bopping and listen.
Vol 4 Get my vote as Black Sabbath best album It’s the way they should sound. A stripped back, stripped down version of Black Sabbath.
ace song, ace reactions, you two are ace
That guitar during the intro, though...
And final too 😀
You have to do Black Sabbath Falling off fhe Edge of the World
Falling Off The Edge Of The World - Sab Dio-era

I thought the best was snowblind
Frank Zapp like?😳🤔
In my view this is Sabbaths second greatest song. The first being National Acrobat.
