this may sound like a stupid question, but how do you have silver wind soul active when you are missing an armor piece and your talisman isn't a silver wind +1 2 or 3? does the deviant weapon stand in as free points towards deviant skills? I'm confused... and no I'm not a noob. I'm lvl 107 in mhgen and I just got my dreadking Rathalos set to lvl 6. anyways. really good hunt.!!! keep it up!!

Hey Canta, have you done the Fire Emblem DLC quest solo? I don't have wifi so I'm stuck soloing him and I can't find any videos to watch for guidance. Just thought I'd ask if there's a video planned for it.
I did it solo, but I don't plan on uploading a video, mainly because Hyper Silverlos is a bitch to 'speedrun' and it took me almost 30 minutes for it. The fact that not even japanese players have bothered to speedrun this quest after a year says a lot about it.
CantaPerMe Oh my, well did you any set in particular against him? And what weapon did you use if you remember? I've tried everything at this point lol, but that cluster bomb hurts
Stevie Delvillar Can't remember which set, I only know that it was Adept DB, either Kirin or Plesioth DB. If you somehow manage to catch my livestream tomorrow I could do it solo on stream for you to see how I do it.
Gotta be one of the most cooperative AI behavior I've seen yet for this quest.... Still, this is great considering how janky smoke bombs' effects are in this game. Well did.
Silverwind Soul grants Evasion +2 which increases the amount of invincibility frames during an evasion roll, which makes it easier to roll through the roar.
I'd recommend to check out gaijinhunter's youtube channel if you're new to the series. He has a lot of tutorials that help new players in understanding the game. Also worth checking out is Projared's Beginner's Guide to monster hunter. It's a bit older but a lot of the stuff said in those videos still applies to the newer games.

whats the reason in using the (A) combo at a certain positioning?
it's slightly faster and allows you to change the direction of the following X attack more freely so you can readjust your angle.
