In this instance, the occupation is listed in tier 2 and the nominated salary is above $70,000 so it meets the criteria of tier 2 and the employer can sponsor the visa. That's how they are going to change I guess. Depends on the occupation and the salary.

Because no one can say when you will get sponsorship as Australia is much competitive market. There are plenty of international students who are residing here and looking for jobs. but for you the plus point is 10+ years experience, so keep calm and do what you are doing. you can expect a result sooner or later.
