People knock CT as boring (and Chanel, Tom Ford, Dior, Cle de Peau, basically most luxury brands) for their quiet, sophisticated style that is subdued and not overly pigmented and glittery but that’s precisely what draws me to them. I like subtle shimmer, not overt glitter. This launch feels like more like a “fun” brand like Colourpop.
CT is competing with luxury brands who do fun sparkles such as Pat McGrath or Bobbi Brown luxe baked shimmers rather than those with subdue pigment. I wouldn’t compare them to ColourPop but I have been buying CT from the early days where they focused on selling the pop shades then the holiday palettes came with even better sparkle formulas. Atleast there is a luxury market for both tastes.
I prefer the old idea of more shades but smaller pans (let's face it most of us never hit pan! ) I do like the colour choices in this much more than the last 12 pan pallette she released though. It feels overall more cohesive.
I love this eyeshadow palette too ❤❤. I had read so many reviews that said how disappointing the palette was. They were disappointed because only 4 matte shades available. But I am one who loves glitter. But great shimmer and glitter. And that’s what Charlotte has given me. So happy I purchased this one. 🩷❤️🩷❤️🩷❤️
This is such a pretty palette, loving the intense sparkles! I'm a bit worried it's really similar to ABH Cosmos though, any chance you could compare swatches from the two?

I’m not at all interested in this palette but I watched because watching Patty is always great ❤ it’s a beautiful palette & that packaging almost did me in 😅 but I don’t need it 🤣 I have way too much I’m trying to buy less this year, I will say this however CT shadows are AMAZING !! They are so underrated & from using her other palettes & quads I’ve always loved the way her shadows apply & blend 😍🤩 the end result is always stunning ! I kinda wish she’d release her larger palette but good on her for trying something different & the quality surely isn’t lacking 😍

Look 2 is my favourite 💕 its a pass, for me.The creamy mattes look amazing 😊 Packaging looks stunning ❤ I'm pretty sure I could get same look from my Moira palettes, for a fraction of the cost😊

Charlotte has had a creamy matte type formula before, in her original ICON palette - those mattes were more cream to powder so I imagine it’s the same just revamped?
For me I think this is too expensive for just a 9 pan palette. It is a nice palette but I would have preferred a 12 pan palette. I can always trust Patty to create the most beautiful eyeshadow looks using any palette though!
How do you get so much colour payoff with the pillow talk eyeliner? Mine struggles to stick to my waterline & show up anywhere near as dark as on you, and I’m fairer than you.
The case is beautiful but the pallet is a Snoozefest for me. We have all those colors it’s nothing that really stands out that make me want to run out and spend 70 something dollars. Just my opinion great video,..Patty.❤
I look at the ease of blending in addition to the color story. I’m No MUA but I want to look like I know what I’m doing. I’m good with paying a little extra to have a few palettes that do that for me rather than having 46 palettes with no ability to blend with ease and appear patchy and have so much fallout I end up looking like I have a black eye.

What? I am 52 and I love the quality CT offers. I have most of her palettes. The 4 pan and the bigger holiday palettes and love them all. I also wear the sparkling duo chromes you get from indie brands, PMG, ND and so on. So don't get me wrong but this is FAR AWAY from "old Lady makeup". The "The Super Nudes Easy Eye Palette" from CT for example has a similar quality like the mattes here and is also beautyful! So tell us "old ladies" what is young makeup approved?! We are really curious to hear 🤔😊

The palette looks similar to the ABH cosmos, except not as good., plus ABH is a bit cheaper. The blush duo looks like ND love duo, so i think i will pass.

My lavender shade of this pallet fell off too! Nail glue is a good idea! I have to try to find a way to glue it back too 😬

It’s doable. Just use a lighter touch with the sparkles. But they’re meant for you and me. I’m much older than you. Think I’ll give them a try again.

I have her Super Nudes Easy Eye matte palette. The formula sounds the same as Patty describes these mattes. I bet you’d like that palette!

This costs way too much for shades to be falling out before you’ve even used it…
