    Focus: Inversions
    No experience or pre-requisites required!
Recommended equipment:sofa or bed, optional: yoga blocks or pillows
    Duration: 60 min.
This class consists of a brief introduction to the highlighted aerial skill, a warmup, skill-specific conditioning, and stretching.
These classes are a perfect way to prepare yourself to attend in-person recreational circus classes in the future, or simply to improve strength and flexibility in a new way. Please keep in mind that while these classes are focused on preparing the body to move in the air, we will not be using actual aerial disciplines as we are all stuck at home!

    What is aerial acrobatics?
“Aerial acrobatics” or “aerial” involves performing acrobatic maneuvers on an apparatus suspended from the ceiling, mainly the circus disciplines of aerial silks, trapeze, aerial hoop, and rope. While most people may be familiar with aerial in the context of traditional or contemporary circus performance, aerial is gaining popularity as a recreational activity and exercise to improve strength, flexibility, and coordination, and of course have fun!
