    Rotational grazing that continuously keeps plants at their ideal growth height can help prevent soil erosion. This is because plants that are clipped to this ideal level can develop longer roots, which keep the soil more intact. Countour plowing, parallel to the slope could be used to reduce soil erosion caused by water and rain runoff.
