- Abhijeet Bhattacharya, Indian playback singer speaks about his career. He says, "I used to sing prayers in school and whenever I feel stressed I sing. R. D. Burman gave me fist break in singing, I had an intuition that R. D. Burman would give me first break. My first song was from the film Baaghi. I came to Mumbai first in 1982 and Baaghi was released in 1990. Kishore Kumar is my idol and I can't judge his songs according to me his every song is extraordinary for me."

It seems worst when Chhutbhaye singers compare Rafi and Kishore and also tell who was better. Rafi ruled till 50 and till 70, Kishore ruled after that. Both different singers. The song Tum Bin Jau Kaha was of Kishore type. He sang well. Rafi ke type songs rafi gaate. Even today many songs are of Arjit Singh, so no one else can sing better than him for those. for manna dey , rafi was better , for asha bhosle kishore.. so what??

RD Burman, SD Burman, Geeta dutt, Hemant Kumar, Manna dey, Shreya Ghoshal, Alka yagnik (she lived in kolkatafrom grade one to until her 12 grade), kavita krishnamurtika bhi rishta the kolkata mey. Shymal mitra had great contribution in hindi film, manna dey bohot hindi gana gaya. Acting and singing mey kolkata wala ko bohot contribution hai hindi film mey.

मैं रोज सुबह विविध भारती , एफएम और बहुत से स्टेशन सुनती हू ,मुझे कोई ये बताए की आजकल के गाने इतने रोने क्यों होते हैं कोई रोमेंटिक गाना भी रोना ही रहता है जबकि आज से 15,20 सालों पहले रेडियो खोलते से गाने सुनकर मन प्रफुल्लित हो जाता था कभी रोमेंटिक, कभी नटखट , आज तो इतने रोने गाने आते हैं की रेडियो बंद कर देती हूं
