Still to me the most underhyped and underrated hardware synth of the past few years and Limbic Bits is demonstrates both great talent and great taste by continuing to drop content! 👏
Agreed. I guess, a lot of people crank up the volume poti to its max and wonder about the harsh sound. Plus, FM might be a bit more challenging at the beginning. But it is definitely worth exploring it. So much character! For me the MEGAfm is one of my favorites and I am super excited to try the new TWIST fm
You really aren't helping. Was trying to reduce my MegaFM obsession. Dammit Limbic. 😂 P. S. Very awesome, will defo support your efforts when I'm back home next week
Have u changed the chipset in your mega fm yet mine came with some crappy cloned chips and sounds like crap 💩 but after i bought some broken old segas and harvested the chips from them it sounds soooooo beautiful it’s really night and day the difference in sound
Opsix: HiFi FM with a lot of tricks in its pocket (might leave one day) MEGAfm: Dirty, gritty and pure Basic Channel (stays) Volca FM2: Ok for its price (left the studio quite fast)
@@juno6 No worries. Yes, you have to keep the gain levels in check. Most demos out there miss the detail that the MEGAfm goes heavily into saturation (and emphasizing the noise floor) when setting the master level (or operator levels) too high. I'd recommend to set the master gain not above 11/12 o'clock, if you know what I mean.
KOOL!😎... 'Blush Response' did a video on The MEGAfm -Check THAT out!👀... I own The MEGAfm myself -The SHIT U can do w/ the 4x8-band Operators is practically INFINITE!♾️🤯... Thanks 4 the video -subbed!🦋✨👽

Still one of my favorite synths. Maybe you can make room for a fourth one;)?
@@limbicbitsmanaged it! For a day :) Actually wasn’t as fun as I hoped! I’m testing something for Soma that you might dig btw, noisy fm related
14:54 bass tone is awesome ❤❤

MKI here.
Really nice sounds here. What do you think if to compare it with Opsix, Volca FM 2 and Megafm - what you will choose?
Opsix: HiFi FM with a lot of tricks in its pocket (might leave one day)
MEGAfm: Dirty, gritty and pure Basic Channel (stays)
Volca FM2: Ok for its price (left the studio quite fast)
@@limbicbits thank you)

Great sounds! Did you use a noise gate?
What's a noise gate ;)?
I like my synths breathing and alive, so no - no noise gate, here.
@@limbicbits sorry to ask, but I've heard other demos and they were more noisy... They probably had a bad gain structure...
