I met Liam in 2014 through a mutual friend, and he is genuinely a nice guy. When you sit down and have a chat with him he is genuinely interested in you as a person, he's not rude and you see it all the time he is happy to talk with fans. I think he stayed true to his roots, I think Liam does what he does because of his love for music and the money is a bonus. I liked Beady Eye, but I think it reminds him of darker times, his marriage break up, the band only coming about cos of Oasis split and he said himself he wasn't in a good place around the time of Beady Eye but Oasis is and always will be his 1st love and he wants to give the younger newer fans a chance to hear Oasis tracks live.

3:15 Beady Eye was only around for two, or three years. They made two albums, while in the spotlight of the press. I think personally Beady Eye's second album, "BE" is much better then anything Liam has done during his solo career. Seriously, how can say Beady Eye couldn't write when songs like, "I'm Just Sayin'", "Start Anew", "The Beat Goes On", "The Roller" and "Back After the Break" are on their albums? Not to mention the songs are written by friends, and band-mates together, in a raw, honest way, compared to written by producers, and other corporate suits.

3:49 Rock'n'roll is now very much another aspect of the UK's heritage industry along with working steam railway lines and vintage car museums. The vast majority of people who pay to see Liam Gallagher live are there primarily for the hits from three decades ago - those that still buy or even care for his current output are very much in a minority. The same applies for his older brother - although unfortunately for Noel he has almost no stage presence whatsoever hence the decline in ticket sales.

If I’m being honest, his vocals aren’t as fit to sing certain oasis songs like LIVE FOREVER, SLIDE AWAY, CHAMPAGNE SUPERNOVA etc. which is probably part of the reason why Noel has refused to do a reunion show of any sort. Liam should lower the key a half step down at least that way he can hit those higher notes a little better but I imagine he’d tell me to fuck off if I told him that.
