Pro tip for salads. After I rough chop my lettuce, I put it in a bowl and take clean kitchen scissors and cut up my lettuce into bite size pieces! Makes the salad so much better and easier to eat!
Joey does this all the time he loves it chopped very small and I agree it is better smaller bites!
I’m not vegan, but I quit eating red meat two years ago definitely for the cows. I don’t regret it one bit. I wish I could stop eating chicken and turkey though but for now that’s the only meat I will eat and seafood. I feel so much better after quitting red meat but of course everyone is different, all what works for each. 👏🏻
Hi Amanda!! Have you looked into glp-1 medications to assist with your journey? They have been shown to increase fertility mainly in women with PCOS. Just a suggestion! I’ve been taking them and my overall health has improved and so has my quality of life!
I have thought about it because I see so many people taking it but my doctor gave me some insight on long term effects and she was pretty stern on not taking it so it kinda freaked me out. I don’t think I need it honestly I’m not at that point where I feel like I do but I don’t judge anyone what so ever for doing it because it definitely works.

I so agree with you about the vegan subject. I have full respect for vegans and people choosing that way of life. And I choose to eat meat that is sustainably sourced. Because the meat industry is DISGRACEFUL! It’s absolutely horrendous what goes on and I don’t care it needs to STOP! Just because there is a huge supply and demand does not mean that animals need to be treated so horribly. There’s zero excuse for it. And I think it’s the absolute biggest thing that needs to be changed.
I’m so happy you’re enjoying eating this way. It definitely makes you feel so much better. Ya vegan junk food is not good, just like eating McDonald’s daily. You were plants based because being vegan is a lifestyle for life. I am whole food plant based, but I don’t claim to be vegan because that takes A HUGE life change. I love and care about the plant and the animals but I can’t physically live a vegan life. I hated being at softball games all day cuz I just wanted to eat all day even if I was prepared 🤦🏽♀️. That depends on each individual person but the lose it app helps you when you sign up determine where you should be to lose weight and also you could hire a nutritionist to help you.

I was vegetarian 1000 years ago when I was really young and became anemic. I can’t go vegan. I have so many G.I. issues. I have to eat small amounts of protein, limited amounts of carbs and vegetables. There’s just no way so. And eggs are the one thing that my stomach can always tolerate.if I ever get to Aldi’s here in North Carolina, I’m gonna look for those little steaks. They would be perfect for me because my doctor wants me on small portions.

Most vegans I know do not look for “meat substitutes”. They eat tofu, beans, nuts, seeds, etc for protein sources.
No vegans I know didn’t eat meat substitutes. I still very much wanted meat but I did it for the animals not so much my health so I ate the substitutes and alot of carbs.
