For years I have met so many people who say things like, “yeah, there is no way I am getting married to my Partner, that would be way too much… but we are expecting a baby soon!”
Sorry - I think people need to listen to what they are saying and realise the nonsense they are spewing!
Worst case scenario, if you are married you can get divorced. If you both have a child, you will be joined for life inextricably!
How is having a child (that didn’t ask you be bought into this mess) forever, less intense?
I want to judge others life choices and I do appreciate that marriage isn’t of interest to everyone and that is fine!
My point is, if you have expressed openly from the start to your other half that you want the commitment of marriage and that is their response or attitude the relationship is doomed.
