I also put power disc brakes on mine and electric wipers . Motor of choice is a 390 or a 352 . Fit rite in using the 292 motor mounts . Good luck . The new crossmember is heavier duty than original also
watching your video ...where my car is stored ....the men of the antique car world ,,,Ritchie Cocerline ,,,Timmy ...and Dave ,,,said that its only a 16 gallon tank,,,,,and with my fuel gauge not working ,,,my odometer does thankfully ,,,on a full tank ,,,i wait til ,,,160miles til ,,,i go fuel up again ,,,,no economy here
You'd be better off ditching the y block. For a small block. I got a 55 272 fordomatic like yours. Originally going to rebuild mine but im not paying y block prices. I got a low mileage 30k mile mustang v6 with a c5 auto going in. Tryna take it to emerald coast in pcb come November
@@muchgooderish yeah stock suspension. Y blocks have similar side mount measurements to a sbf as same for the 3.8. I'm sure they'll be problems as anytime swapping engines and transmissions but shouldn't be too bad. There's alot of room for a little engine and trans like that. It's also 300 pounds lighter

We have been lookin at crate motors. Not wanting to rebuild a used engine. Did you keep the OEM suspension?
Good luck on your project!

The tank holds about 17 gallons. I put a new tank in mine. There not that expensive.
Looks so small for 17 gallons. Tank or fuel cell is about same price..
You’ve been channeling Derek biers a little too much!

Well Spring Break Billy, I believe your Aunt signs an affidavit stating it was her husbands car. DMV should issue a new title for the car.
Ol Spring Break Billy!! We are not close to that part of the family, so we have some research to do for sure.
