Thanks for your encouragement Steve. I tuned down to drop D so DD AA DD GG BB EE. To match the record and make it easier to sing I should have then put a capo on the 2nd fret but I loved the sound of that low D so much that I kept it in D. I think some people even use DADGAD which in hindsight would have been even cooler. Have a great Monday amigo.
