Originally, I wanted to be a parole officer until I did my internship. While completing my hours, I was placed on the SA docket. I was told that I couldn't wear sandals, skirts nor short sleeves. I immediately knew that it was more than what I could bear. Just to have to be in their presence makes me physically upset. Not to mention, I was raised by a SA survivor! And it played a role in how my mom parented her 5 girls. And I thank her for the protection and overbearing ways.

Is anyone else terrified that these monsters are getting out and going to be truckers? They will have access to private compartments with the ability to take someone and dump them somewhere in the middle of nowhere without anyone seeing anything? They will be alone on the road without oversight. The FBI already suspects hundreds of unkown serial k!llers are truckers, so why would this job be available to inmates like this?
I had 2 friends that hitchhiked from Boston to California. They both had horrible moms. They were raped by truck drivers that said oh yeah I’m a dad I want to help you.

It's actually a bit of a good thing. Those trucks are constantly monitored via GPS. If something happens they will instantly know he was there. I don't think he can cross state lines on parole though. I could be wrong but that is how it used to be. Not sure how or why they are setting up a new program to make these guys truck drivers? Truck driving will be automated in a few years.

The system has failed another child in the future by allowing this monster to be free. Being a truck driver allows him more freedom to commit the crime again and be on the road with no consequence. His kids can forgive but they will never forget.
As a therapist/Counsellor of 30yrs standing I have to say this is one of the most dangerous sex offenders that I have seen on here that has come up for parole, he has NOT one iota of his offending, he has sat for 36 weeks dreaming of getting out, he has NO guilt or remorse and is just waiting to get out! he WILL offend again , imo he had no idea of what his triggers are, if he was in my Country he would NOT get parole until he passed an expert evaluation by a panel of professionals not

My ex husband is in prison for similar things. I have not talked to him since the day he was arrested 10 years ago. Nor will I talk to him when he gets out in 12 years. Thank goodness no parole for him, he has to serve his entire sentence. My kids need to know I support them, not POS ex husband

A life sentence by one of the board members is 100% true. It's been over 65 years, and I can still remember the body odor, the after-shave smell, and even the smell of Old Spice of the person who abused me from age 5 to 11. It was only his death after a heart attack that stopped the abuse. My parents never believed me until after his death by a heart attack when three other children came forward. I never forgave my parents and they never asked for it. I graduated high school at 16 and moved away to start college and never returned to their home. We never forget and parts of our lives are forever imprisoned.
I remember even 50 years later , my grandfather and he was very involved with his church.

I'm really surprised he got parole, especially after such a short time served and the length of his offending time. As a survivor, who broke the cycle but ended up as an alcoholic, sober over ten years, I don't know if there's ever a right time to release them.
