But, I've seen peodos and perverts interviewed etc, and seen their behaviour and body language assessed by some of the top body language experts in the world on their podcasts, and they are very manipulative - they either are very good at trying to deny it or they have all the excuses in the world ready. With 10+ years between, and as unfortunate as it is, possessing lube isn't against the law, and his cases have no victims with the exception of the kids who did see him if they saw him at all it sounds like only 1 or 2 of his 4 charges are actual exposure to minors, the judge can't throw away the keys bc the class of felony, there's a min and max sentence a judge can sentence or he's released on appeals, what issue I have and where people don't seem to understand like the channel host, he is unlikely to be released, he's a candidate for mental health review for civil confinement, civil confinement is when a person's either due to mental health or low iq literally can't control there impulsive behavior that it poses a serious public risk, i deal in the law not medicine, but I would say he is a candidate for cc evaluation, and has some form of mental issues and based on whatever the psych reason he can't control himself he will likely be civil confined to a psych center for life, it's the only way and it seems inevitable he will be, but his crime will never warrant life in prison, like underage smut, there oft isn't a clearly defined victim that although someone has repeatedly possessed it, they have no victim...in his case he will be evaluated right b4 release, and my guess is he never sees freedom, he will go directly from prison to a civil confinement cell, which is the legal way to keep him away from the public...it's the only legal way to throw away the key on this sick evidently slow man

The one thing the host probably doesn't understand is how in a World of Victims, where people can be jailed for mis-pronouning their 'victim', a mother can receive more jail time for calling the r@pist of her daughter a pig, than he got for that heinous act? Child P0rn is not victimless; m@strb@ting in front of adolescent boys while making s3xual comments is not victimless; just b/c they can't vote & aren't members of the current "in" cause de celebre, doesn't mean they can't be a victim.

Let’s stop arguing with the parole board in this case. They ruled he was full of crap and said he was not even close to meeting the threshold for release. The guy is a loser. No doubt. Ok? The parole board said he isn’t getting released until the sentence is served. As for life sentence, unless the crime qualifies for a life sentence the offender must be released when his sentence is complete. The answer is simple. A repeat offender who shows no rehabilitation needs longer sentences that require less parole opportunities all of which are shorter than a life sentence.

I don't believe this man's risk of harm will ever be low enough to allow him to live in the outside world. He doesn't have the cognitive ability or consequential reasoning skills to develop even a basic grasp of what he needs to understand to begin to control himself. I don't know about the USA but in the UK judges are often prevented from giving sentences that would protect the community long term because by law they can only sentence within the sentencing guidelines. I completely understand why people express anger at judges for lenient sentencing, and sometimes judges do sentence at the lower end of the guidelines, but often the maximum sentence is ridiculously low considering the levels of risk and harm. The sentencing guidelines need to be overhauled so that punishments can truly reflect the seriousness of these disgusting crimes. Thanks Mandoo and Richard for the valuable work you do, the more public awareness there is of the futility of short sentences, the more likely it is that things will change.
