Angela, John Cogley and Daniel Smith pigments have been the best learning experiences ever! Heart-led and heart-felt works so well for me, along with being loose, intuitive and fluid. Thank you for sharing!
I'm so glad to hear more about your process Angela, because I have redone a few paintings, and somehow felt that it was wrong or maybe wasteful, yet I often still have not got to where I want it to be. This gives me momentum to go ahead and keep redoing paintings! Thank you Daniel Smith company for interviewing Angela Fehr
It was very interesting to learn about your process of painting a series of paintings of your subject. In fact it had inspired me to continue with a painting that I had made 4 attempts of, and then decided to throw in the towel. I'm going to continue. Thank you!
Angela, when I hear you speak about the "soul of merging paint and color" it ignites my creativity even more. You are marvelous at putting into words that which eludes me as I paint from my emotional place--the place that gives me permission to do...whatever! Listening and watching you for 3 years gave me that permission, so painting has become much less burdensome. Thank you, Angela! :) Frances (Fanna) Turano Denver, CO, USA Proud Owner of: "If You Can't See the Forest, Let Go of the Trees." (still thrills me when I view it daily in my "studio.")
What a great team! I knew nothing about paint quality and brands before Angela’s tutorials and courses... my first high grade paints were Daniel Smith, recommended by Angela! Great interview...thank you all 🙏🏻💕
I love how it’s a learning process and journey for her 💖
Great interview, Angela!
Angela, you are a delight! Love your perspective on creativity and not judging your creations.
