Yance Ford brings his new documentary about the history of the police in America to Sundance. He stopped by the IndieWire Studio presented by Dropbox for an interview about how it is that only the first publicly funded police force was established in the U.S. in 1848 but the idea of policing has become such a powerful part of the country, arguably the most powerful part of it.
