ON your last turn...I am curious why you didnt take the known anomaly token. Its 3 points. Would you have incurred an anomaly event? even so, i think it might be worth it given the game was essentially over. Although unknown at the time, it would have also negated the 7 point "most anomalies" end game card. Also...had you not had the gunboat attack you twice when it should have moved out to the nearest outpost, you would not have had the hull damage. I had not heard anything about this game until the play through showed up and almost dismissed it based on a quick scan of BGG. But seeing it in action, it looks like a lot of fun, and the automa behaves very naturally. Those bad ships are a real pest and given how they target and move, positioning of your ship is crucial in minimizing the chances of you being the their target.
You make a good point about picking up that Anomaly, but I do believe the event would have triggered and the result could have made the 3 points less worth it. You are also correct, we would have won this game without the hull penalty, and that shouldn't have happened if I had activated the Gunboat correctly. I'm glad you were intrigued by it after watching :)
@@JonGetsGames Can you provide the sequence of times to watch to get the automa turn in correct order? We'd need to know how long the sequence at 17:15 is, no? Assuming we watch thru 17:14, then skip forward to some point and watch thru 20:22, then go back and watch from 17:15 to the skip point. then continue on from 20:22...?
CORRECTIONS:
17:15 through 17:42 - This section is out of sequence, and should have been at 20:22. I don't know how this happened, sorry!
Great to see Jon plays solo 😀

At 17:15 the automa's turn is shown out of sequence
Great catch. Also, I have no idea how that happened, dang! I've added corrections, I hope this isn't too confusing.
@@JonGetsGames no worries! I managed to figure out the sequence. Thanks for the playthrough!

@@ithja I had this marked in the Klingon subtitles, but didn't have it in the pinned comment, sorry. I have added the duration to the pinned comment.
