The action selection mechanism drew me in to find out more. I really couldn't get a good feel of the game from the KS page. Then I saw your video on the page and said, "Oh good! Jon did a video! This will clear everything up!" Seriously man, always high quality and make things understandable; simply the best!
Thanks for the playthrough! I was able to play an early version of this game at PAX Unplugged last year and knew I would back it when the campaign started.
@@Jeff-jc9fk Agreed. The rule book isn't "the worst" out there but it certainly isn't very good. I do appreciate videos like this to clear things up but at the same time you should be able to understand/play the game from the manual itself rather the way the rulebook was written you almost have to watch a "how to play video".
It seems like there are no ways to keep track of majority points and those from character cards at the endgame scoring either by point tokens or scoring track which is weird. you'll probably going to need a pen and paper
Am I wrong Jon, or were you not supposed to be able to add the “2” red chip in the Resource board, as you are restricted to only one of your chips to the Resource board per round? Also, same for Yellow on the Labor board
Is it possible to combine the "Klingon" and "Subtitles" version? Especially for hard of hearing people who can't realistically switch between the two every line. Just a suggestion, if youtube even allows something like that! Great video otherwise, thank you!
Unfortunately, RUclips offers no official ways to add text corrections to videos after they are published. Using Klingon subtitles is a work-around that many boardgaming youtubers use, but it isn't perfect. I believe the "subtitles" version you are referring to are actually text corrections I added before rendering the video. I know this is difficult for hard-of-hearing people to see corrections, and that's why I always add corrections to a pinned comment.
It's an interesting theme but as a pick up delivery game, it just seems pretty boring and repetitive. I'll pass. But thanks for another good video Jon!

Thank you so much for the kind words :)
This is one of those games I wish you could play all the way through!
You really are the best board game channel on RUclips Jon :)
I like the action-selection mechanism. Have 2 sides of the board fixed and the other 2 random cards is a good touch.

Thank You for Your tutorial. :-)
I am in. :-) Always a pleasure seeing Your great tutorials.
Just received our KS edition of Mistwind today. Your tutorial was a big help in learning how to play.
This - our KS arrived today also. The video sold me on backing the game and was a good refresh today. Cheers!!
Excellent playthrough of the game.
Thanks for the Video. My copy of mistwind arrived last week and I hope can play it the next weekend.
I hope you enjoy it :)
Great job as usual. Thank you
I just played this and it was a lot heavier than I initially thought 😆
I was having difficulty with the context for the game, and couldn't really follow the rules. Your video really brought everything together!
That rulebook needs a 2.0 version stat

Great tutorial, thank you!
It's very interesting how worker placement and pick up and delivery blend. It would have been nice if the game wasn't so tight.
Mmm, this seems very light. Just some simple actions with a theme and some whale mini's on it?
They chanced rules: you cant play more than one disk in the left and right board section…even if I dont understand why.
Did anyone else keep hearing in their head “Oh look! Krill!”?

Unfortunately, it's been too long since I played this game to remember the rules enough to answer your question. Sorry about that!
I’d play this game just for the “krill” of it.

Red should have claimed the 3 transport marker whenyou built the 3rd one
Ah I see you did turn it over - my bad
