Shave 2 or 3 days before? Dang! My hair would all be grown back by then. I shave and exfoliate the morning of and then self tanned at night. That’s what works for me at least
The dripping gold tanner is UNBELIEVABLE and is the most natural looking on me, as I tan with red undertones! I have to try shaving a few days before instead!! Makes sense
I have never thought about mixing the two colors like that I am definitely going to try it! When you say you do two coats do you put the second coat on before rinsing the first coat off or do you rinse the first then do the second? I tried doing a second coat the same night before rinsing and it seemed like it was taking the first coat off while I was trying to rub it in. Thanks for the tips though!
I struggle a lot with self tan removal, and I think I’ve tried every tip I’ve heard, including the ones you mentioned in your video. Do you have any other recommendation? Tia
@@ChristineCartwright i'm more of a shower girl, so hot water bath isn't an option for me. I'll keep self tan removers, maybe leave them longer on my skin and see if it works ! Thanks :)
Hey Christine, do you usually put 2 coats of tan on when you try out a new tan? Amazing video btw, I’ve tried the brush technique but maybe I don’t use enough moisturiser or I’m using the wrong brush but I’ll defs try your advice next time :) also with loving tan and bondi sands in particular, do you find that it becomes streaky when you rinse off the bronzer in the morning? If so, are there any tips you can recommend so the tan isn’t streaky after rinsing? I have to be very careful when I rinse and I rinse pretty much in the coldest water I can withstand hahah. Thank you 💕💕
Hi Clara! I usually do try 2 coats when trying a new tan, I feel like a lot are not dark enough with only 1 coat. I don't find streakiness to be a problem after I rinse off. Maybe try exfoliating a bit more before the tan 💜😊
@@ChristineCartwright im actually doing it for the 2nd time today ima scrub and make sure i have lotion before applying on body and before applying right on elbows knees and hands oh and feet lol. I will have to say i LOVE my face the first time really gave me a bronze gloww
Have you tried the norvell hack pouring the solution in a foam or continuous spray bottle ?
I have not! It looks interesting though! Have you?!

Haha! I guess everyone is different. If I shave the day of I get those black dots in my pores! 💜💜💜

Hi! I would recommend: waiting at least 4 days after applying, self tan remover foams, exfoliating mit, hot water! I hope this helps!

Try to add to the exfoliating mit a salicylic acid face wash..

Do you put it on the face if so how or what do you do to keep face matching body tan?
I don't put it on my face. I have a video coming soon about this! XO 💕
This was so useful! Thank you! Have you tried the coco and eve tanner?
Yay so glad you liked it! No I haven't, I will have to 💜
@@ChristineCartwright i'm curious to see your review :)
How manu pumps do you use per body part? That would be very helpful

@@ChristineCartwright I'm using tanwise dark self-tanning water foam hydrating deepens up to 6 hours
If I shave two days before my hair is grown back already
I would try to shave the morning of & then tan at night. Or even shave then wait a couple of hours and then tan! XO
