An ambitious, for almost every and each English as a Second Language Learner, has been concisely and precisely explained, once and for good. Thank you, Greg. PS I that the young lady, your daughter, should hardly be criticized for her elegant demeanour ; she's doing the right thing , isn't she?
If I were you I would explain the differences when the simple future tense is used. For example How long will you stay ? vs how long will you be staying? I found that is one of the weaknesses that most of the teachers are having in teaching grammar.
You're great English instructor! Could you explain when using -WILL BE + PAST PARTICIPLE? Example: It will be done tonight for you. - WILL HAVE/HAS BEEN. -WILL HAVE/HAS BEEN + PRESENT PARTICIPLE. - WOULD BE + PAST PARTICIPLE. Thank you for your teaching.
Great tips! I'd like to know about the use of have for future plans. I'm having a lesson tomorrow, or I have a lesson tomorrow. Can we clear that up. Thanks.
Could you get a little deeper into the idea of using will future progressive as a means of politeness? Like in "will you be needing anything else?" versus "will you need anything else?". There is no such grammar structure in German. We simply add a "please" to the sentence instead of using a will future continuous. Hence, it's a little tricky for us Germans to know when and how to use the will future progressive in order to be polite. So... Is the expression "Will you hand me the glass, please" really LESS polite than "Will you be handing me the glass?".... strange.....
What’s the difference in use when it comes to future progressive and present progressive with future meaning? In future progressive you say that you will be doing something st a specific time in the future and in the present progressive with future meaning you say that something is fixed for sure and will be happening in near future. Because if I say I am picking her up it will also be in progress in the future right? Same as I will be having coffee in an hour. What’s the difference then? 🥺 I am missing something
Hi, you are amazing!! Could I ask you the difference between will be doing and going to do for the future? Can I say: When I arrive at home tonight, the children will be sleeping. Or the children are going to sleep? Thanks for anything!!
Hello Greg, please could you help me with this phrase or sentence? What does it mean exactly and how to understand it. "When´s so it goes coming back."
Great video! One question please, you say: you will be feeling tired after that holidays. Why I cannot say: "you will feel tired after that holidays"?. Thank you 😊
Thank you for your lesson. I have a question and would you please help to answer it. We will hold an exhibition from 1-3 Dec 2021. We will be holding an exhibition from 1-3 Dec 2021. We are holding an exhibition from 1-3 Dec 2021. What is the difference between the above sentences? Thank you very much.
Hello! I'm Rivi from India. I often hear native English speakers say "If you would like do something " Plz tell me how much of it is correct or if it's correct at all. And even if it's, plz let me know when and where and how can we use it. I'll be looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you
Awesome lesson, Greg. Especially 5th case of Future Continuous. I was wondering if you would create new video about "to be about to" usage and compare this conctruction with "to be to" you've describe last lesson. E.g. The asteroid is about to hit the Earth. US President is to meet with Putin.
Thanks alot teacher 💚 I'd like to ask you a question, please. What's the difference between going to and will be doing something? Like I can say " at 9:00 I will be watching the game or I'm going to watch the game"
I've seen this in the movies many times. Somebody is at the restaurant and, whren it's time to go, or if they suddenly decide to go, they say "We'll be leaving". Why not "We'll leave" or "Let's leave" "Let's go...."?
Thanks! Just one question... Can I use the structure "be + going to be + verb with ing" instead or even interchangeably with "will be ing" ? For example "I'll be doing my homework tomorrow" and "I'm going to be doing my homework tomorrow". Is there any difference?
I think the difference between these two is being formal and informal. Be going to and present continuous are used in formal sentences and will is used in informal sentences . And I think will is 60% sure and be going to is 95% sure , that is just my opinion.
I'd been watching too many videos about this tense for 2 days and didn't understand it، this is the best video and now i got it
Thank you, Greg! Your explanation of Grammar is possibly the best I've ever heard.
Thank you, Greg

Were you 😂😂😂
@@MERKYRIY-fn5rw It would be better if you deleted your comment.
@@MERKYRIY-fn5rw"were" has been used for imaginary and unrealistic event
How long will you stay ?
(decide right now and tell me )
How long will you be staying ?

Hi Greg, Isn't feel a stative verb? So we can't use it in a continuous form.
Sir can we use (would be) for future prediction?
That is useful.I will be watching your videos :-). Thank a lot.
That's just what I need.
The good teacher
Awesome lesson, Greg. Especially 5th case of Future Continuous. I was wondering if you would create new video about "to be about to" usage and compare this conctruction with "to be to" you've describe last lesson. E.g. The asteroid is about to hit the Earth. US President is to meet with Putin.

Like I can say " at 9:00 I will be watching the game or I'm going to watch the game"
A big hello it is very interesting useful lesson thanks so much
I've seen this in the movies many times.

Im having the same doubt, are they interchangeable?
I think the difference between these two is being formal and informal. Be going to and present continuous are used in formal sentences and will is used in informal sentences . And I think will is 60% sure and be going to is 95% sure , that is just my opinion.
"will be doing" describes a specific moment
As I got well they are same usages.
Would you be kind enough and teach using future continuous, future perfect and future perfect continuous to make prediction about the present.
What is difference between I will wait and I will be waiting
Well done.
Thanks so much i had an oncoming exam and i didn't understand this , because of this video I learned so much! Thanks so much Greg you're the best! 🥰
Tnx❤
Thanks!
Next week on Thursday hopefully , my daughters will be playing at their uncle's house.
ı like you're videos and the videos are understandable
EXCELLENT
Future Continuous is used also if you are guessing about a present event, for instance: "I guess, she will be sleeping."
Why in negative froms of present continuous we don't use verb with ing?
Nice lesson
