1 1/3 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup milk
8 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

2 cups heavy whipping cream, divided
5-6 tbsp granulated sugar, divided
instant coffee powder (optional)
seedless raspberry jam (optional)
rhubarb butter (optional)

You absolutely can! Traditionally, plain lightly sweetened whipped cream is used. Until fairly recently it was all I ever used. A few years ago I tried coffee flavored rurki at a local festival😌 It blew my mind ...I say the sky is the limit. Experiment with whatever jam you like! 👍👍👍
