i think of repentance and judgment kinda like how our parents punish us. IDEALLY, your parents don’t like to punish you for going against them. but they do it to teach you a lesson and because they love you. they want you to recognize your mistakes and come to them open hearted and ask for forgiveness and try and do better and they rejoice in your realization and no longer punish you. when i think of God this way, cause he’s literally the Father, it brings me great comfort! love you girl!
thank you holy spirit for using your daughter emy to spread your word♥️ i have been struggling immensely with anxiety for the past 2 months and recently was diagnosed with an anxiety disorder along with potential ocd. i’ve been praying for restoration and healing and a sound mind in Jesus name. it has not been easy but I know now that I must repent for my sins and to not only pray to God for only healing but to have a genuine relationship with him. to hate the things he hates and to love the things he loves and do the will of the father. thank you emy for this word! praise Jesus!

When I first saw that you had a podcast, I was intrigued. BUT, soon as I saw the title, I was in love! As a highschooler, my friends and the people around me know that I'm a Christian. So, I have been picked at in a playing way to "act out". They were essentially testing me to see if I would defy the "perfectness" of what they viewed as Christian. So, I started to say, I'm saved, not soft.
wow that’s awesome! im a sophomore in college, I truly dedicated my life to God here. I’m so glad you’re serving Him in high school. Continue in faith. Praying and reading the Word are most important to seek Him. But just know He’s got you. Give everything to Him. Don’t take the burdens of life or doing stuff on yourself 🩷

Although I know it's given out of love, my heart has felt closed off, unwilling to let anyone in-until I heard this. Emy, the reason I so often recommend your podcast to long-time believers like myself is because it's full of such strong conviction. The way you deliver His words is powerful enough to break the chains of overfamiliarity, which I believe can so easily lead to a lukewarm faith. Rather than being comforted by flowery words that baby us, your podcast challenges and inspires us to grow.
