im just ar 30 and got bennet and raiden today in two single wishes but dont have any exp books, could i use her with keqing mona raiden and bennet, would that work?
@@creepytitan7942 Keqing and Raiden are good because of the synergy and bennet works as a buffer and a healer. Mona's good to proc elec but I think you can switch her out with someone like Xinqiu for more damage and buffs.
@@kevinvu105 I have an R3 Wavebreaker and I have tested it in national team. It does a little more damage (say 5-10%) than my R5 catch. So I believe the R5 wavebreaker will be much better. You will need an ER sands with wavebreaker though.

I am so glad I saved up and got raiden with engulfing. She is one of my favorites character and design wise but also so fun to play. She's in my top 3 favorite units. Even when people were doubting her I stayed true and look how that turned out. I might even try to get her c2 even though I generally do not go for constellations specifically.

burst state hits are considered normal attacks, but the damage itself is considered burst damage, which is why it doesnt work with beidou or electro traveler but it does with thoma and xingqiu
Just want to add 1 thing for c6 raiden, there is exactly one reason to possibly want this for a gameplay reason: multiplayer, you could reduce the cooldowns of your comrades which is quite useful with 4 onfield characters... but there is no particular multiplayer content that would require such strong characters or mechanics anyway

Loved the razor speak section! I feel like i needed it after all that math lol. Also thanks for including newer players in your advice. I started last fall and while I’ve now completed all the archon quests i remember feeling like i was always so behind in the beginning (still feel like that lol).
The inazuma pole arm (name ends "...Fin") is actually pretty good on her,especially at r5,gives u Atk% main stats and it's passive boost her burst dmg aswell. Got her ER% and with Atk% goblet.

I think the one thing about Engulfing Lightning is that you definitely need higher quality artifacts to pull it off effectively, because it doesn't offer any crit stats. Most of her other weapon choices do have crit on them, that's about the only thing to watch out for I would recommend Lisa as well for Raiden's friends, DEF shred + TTDS setup is quite nice, and Raiden fuels Lisa's poor energy generation

I feel like you and most people forgetting wavebreaker fin spear for her , even at R1 its outdamage the catch R5 and at R5 its beats staff of homa and barely behind EL , its also amazing cause this way you can gives the catch to xiangling

But not every player have wavebreaker(never wish on weapon banner lol including me 😀) tho, thats why the catch is still the best option and accessible to players
I started playing genshin impact AGAIN a few months ago (when albedo and eula came out. i was only Ar 10 anyways). I knew from the beginning she was the only character i wanted. I’ve been grinded and finally pulled on her today. dumped all my 24k+ primos and won both my 50-50s :)))) Ik C2 is op so i’m gonna be grinding for that. Good luck to everyone pulling on her 😁
Thank you for making this video, I have Raiden from her original channel and watching this made me realize a mistake with my build. I'll give her an ATK sands that has good crit rate substats instead of her current off piece ER sands which can go to someone else who needs it. I'll give her her last ascension soon and ER hits 256, it is probably better to lower it to 200 ER in this case for the ATK goblet especially if I ever pull Eula whenever she gets her rerun again. This character is pretty hard to grasp in terms of minmaxing and this guide makes it all clear and concise!

Hi Sevy. First of all, thank you so much for a detailed explainer video. This will help a lot of low AR and high AR players. I was doing some maths, and I noticed something quite interesting. If you see this comment, please let me know if my calculations are correct. Let's say I have a L90 C0 Raiden with L90 R5 Catch. Then I get 177.9 ER just from her baseline ER, ascension bonus, and ER from catch. Now, this becomes 249.7 ER if I use an ER sands and 2 piece emblem set bonus on a 4 piece emblem set (assuming I get no ER substat in any of my artifacts in the worst case). If that's the case, due to Raiden's passive "Enlightened one", I'll get 149.7 x 0.4 = 59.88% Electro DMG bonus. Since this is more than the 46.6% Electro DMG bonus I'll get using the Electro DMG goblet, replacing my goblet with 46.6% ATK goblet takes care of the ATK% loss I get by using an ER sands. On the other hand, if I use an ATK % sand, I'll be capped at 197.9 % ER due to emblem set bonus. And because of "Enlightened One" passive, I'll get 97.9 x 0.4 = 39.16% Electro DMG bonus. Now adding the 46.6% Electro DMG bonus from the goblet, this shoots upto 85.76% Electro DMG bonus. Comparing both scenarios, a F2P player using a L90 Catch on a C0 L90 Raiden, going with an ATK % sands, Electro DMG goblet, and Crit circlet in a 4 piece emblem set is much better as it gives 25.88% additional Electro DMG bonus than an ER sands, ATK % goblet, and Crit Circlet for the same substats. And the good news is, a minimum of 197.9% ER is obtainable just using the baseline ER, the Catch, ascension bonus, and the emblem set bonus. So, an F2P player using the Catch needs to concentrate only on getting 10 to 20 ER from substats of all the artifacts to comfortably sit in the 210 to 220 ER range. And the rest of the artifact rolls falling into crit stats (plus some ATK %) is enough. If you see this comment, could you let me know if I am correct? If I am wrong, please let me know where I went wrong. I'm happy to correct myself. Thank you in advance!

The combo that i like to go for is 4 normal attacks, then charged, then 4 again, then charged, then charged again. People really underestimate the double hit of her fourth normal attack, it really benefits from the chakra desiderata buff.
Great guide! I just want her for my Childe, even though I know Fischl+Beidou are technically his go to when it comes to the taser comp, but she's fun. But also sometimes I want an electro on the other team, and there's only one Fischl, so Raiden would be perfect. Not sure what I'm gonna do if I lose 50/50 though. Keep going or wait for Ayato. 🤧

I just finished the act 2 of her story quest and ive grown to like her so much 😭 if i dont win my 50/50 on her, im gonna use my reserved fates for kazuha istg
so, my dad was wishing for Raiden's weapon on her rerun as he already got Raiden on her first banner (f2pbtw) and he actually skipped Yea's banner and saved up and guess what? he got Engulfing Lighting!
I have did a lot of research on Raidens's Artifacts and stats. If you are able to maintain more than 250% ER without ER sands you can opt for Attack% on both Sands and goblet. you will significantly lose value on Elemental damange bonus after 60% so Going for ED on goblet is less valuable if you have ER over 250% as you will be using only her burst for damage. Keep your CR over 55% and over 120% CD if you can if not 100% CD is still fine. She is the most Stat hungry character In the game as of now so If your CV is less, Focus on CR not CD then stack attack and ER. She is the most Valuable character alongside Kazuha. I am happy for you if you are pulling for her and good luck. One key point if your team has Anemo character with VV set to swirl electro you can go for ED on goblet but you will need good stats for that. Fate set is a must for raiden.
Thank you for making this. Its so hard these days to find general guides about a character. Just recently started Genshin so there are things that I haven't fully grasp this video really help. I got Raiden now, i was fortunate enough to lose 50/50 on early pulls on Ganyu banner that i got the chance to pull her guaranteed.
I have her at c2 right now but tomorrow when her banner drops for round 2 I am gonna be simping harder and make her my first c6 featured 5 star. The burst cooldown specifically of Yae is a bit High for my liking and I have her c2 as well. So I can get her burst back significantly easier. I have Engulfing already, so that isn't a worry. I have a good build already artifact wise. I know her c6 isn't as great as people like Yae but Raiden just clicks with me and I like giving my team that huge support buff.
I've never seen anybody mention that team comp but I love using raiden with thoma!! E.g. in a raiden-sucrose-xingqiu-thoma team. The overloaded reactions she creates in her burst state are just too satisfying.
i use her with overload benet 4p TF, aly flash, EM, EM, HP - 600 EM for some easy 20k overloads, not to mention the speed at which he shreads heralds... i use raiden benet zhongli ninguang rotation baal E, Zhondli E Q, benet Q E, ning E, Q, E, charged, baal Q... and then you repeat... and sucrose with Qiqi, fisch and beidou on haku ring... its really op :D

Was about to pull out an Excel spreadsheet before you kicked in with that (much appreciated) Razor summary. Spent all my primo on Raider because she’s everything my Genshin dreams are made of. As a controller button masher, the charged and normal attacks combos are difficult for me, but mostly because of my timing, not the concept.
Regarding her constellations, I feel like C4 and C6 are highly valued for Co-op gameplays. I saw someone put on a vid showing a party with Raiden C6 and it was insane how fast they can dish out burst like there was no tomorrow. But if you don't plan on using her on co-ops then I agree that you should not go beyond C3.

For Raiden National, I go for 270-280% ER. Imo, having 100% burst uptime is more important than maximizing damage for that team.
OR you just optimize your supports' ER 😩

Comparing both scenarios, a F2P player using a L90 Catch on a C0 L90 Raiden, going with an ATK % sands, Electro DMG goblet, and Crit circlet in a 4 piece emblem set is much better as it gives 25.88% additional Electro DMG bonus than an ER sands, ATK % goblet, and Crit Circlet for the same substats.
And the good news is, a minimum of 197.9% ER is obtainable just using the baseline ER, the Catch, ascension bonus, and the emblem set bonus. So, an F2P player using the Catch needs to concentrate only on getting 10 to 20 ER from substats of all the artifacts to comfortably sit in the 210 to 220 ER range. And the rest of the artifact rolls falling into crit stats (plus some ATK %) is enough.

The combo that i like to go for is 4 normal attacks, then charged, then 4 again, then charged, then charged again. People really underestimate the double hit of her fourth normal attack, it really benefits from the chakra desiderata buff.

Great guide! I just want her for my Childe, even though I know Fischl+Beidou are technically his go to when it comes to the taser comp, but she's fun. But also sometimes I want an electro on the other team, and there's only one Fischl, so Raiden would be perfect. Not sure what I'm gonna do if I lose 50/50 though. Keep going or wait for Ayato. 🤧

so, my dad was wishing for Raiden's weapon on her rerun as he already got Raiden on her first banner (f2pbtw) and he actually skipped Yea's banner and saved up and guess what? he got Engulfing Lighting!
I have did a lot of research on Raidens's Artifacts and stats.
If you are able to maintain more than 250% ER without ER sands you can opt for Attack% on both Sands and goblet.
you will significantly lose value on Elemental damange bonus after 60% so Going for ED on goblet is less valuable if you have ER over 250% as you will be using only her burst for damage. Keep your CR over 55% and over 120% CD if you can if not 100% CD is still fine. She is the most Stat hungry character In the game as of now so If your CV is less, Focus on CR not CD then stack attack and ER. She is the most Valuable character alongside Kazuha. I am happy for you if you are pulling for her and good luck.
One key point if your team has Anemo character with VV set to swirl electro you can go for ED on goblet but you will need good stats for that. Fate set is a must for raiden.

Thank you for making this. Its so hard these days to find general guides about a character. Just recently started Genshin so there are things that I haven't fully grasp this video really help. I got Raiden now, i was fortunate enough to lose 50/50 on early pulls on Ganyu banner that i got the chance to pull her guaranteed.

I have her at c2 right now but tomorrow when her banner drops for round 2 I am gonna be simping harder and make her my first c6 featured 5 star. The burst cooldown specifically of Yae is a bit High for my liking and I have her c2 as well. So I can get her burst back significantly easier. I have Engulfing already, so that isn't a worry. I have a good build already artifact wise. I know her c6 isn't as great as people like Yae but Raiden just clicks with me and I like giving my team that huge support buff.

I've never seen anybody mention that team comp but I love using raiden with thoma!! E.g. in a raiden-sucrose-xingqiu-thoma team. The overloaded reactions she creates in her burst state are just too satisfying.
i use her with overload benet
4p TF, aly flash, EM, EM, HP - 600 EM for some easy 20k overloads, not to mention the speed at which he shreads heralds... i use raiden benet zhongli ninguang
rotation baal E, Zhondli E Q, benet Q E, ning E, Q, E, charged, baal Q... and then you repeat...
and sucrose with Qiqi, fisch and beidou on haku ring... its really op :D

Spent all my primo on Raider because she’s everything my Genshin dreams are made of. As a controller button masher, the charged and normal attacks combos are difficult for me, but mostly because of my timing, not the concept.

Regarding her constellations, I feel like C4 and C6 are highly valued for Co-op gameplays.
I saw someone put on a vid showing a party with Raiden C6 and it was insane how fast they can dish out burst like there was no tomorrow.
But if you don't plan on using her on co-ops then I agree that you should not go beyond C3.
if anyone goes up to c4 for faster coop clear they are a whale anyways :D
