Just a heads up, this isn't live, they are lip syncing the studio version here. Something about TV shows that often insisted on lip syncing studio tracks. There was no auto-tuning back then. There are live versions out there and I HIGHLY recommend you watch their 1978 Live performance of "Crazy On You" with the long acoustic intro by Nancy. Get as much studio and live Heart reactions as you can, please. Especially their 70's progressive rock material. I'm here for all of it. FYI: When they lost their original band line up, they changed from progressive rock to more of a pop rock band in the 80's.
I saw them almost 50 years ago and was captivated by the beauty of those two and their songs. A great band, inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and still active. I think the opening guitar is the best acoustic I've ever heard.
Heart was founded in Seattle in 1973, their first album, “Dreamboat Annie” came out in 1975, when I was in 16 or 17 years old. Crazy on You is from that album. I’d strongly suggest that you listen to their version of Stairway To Heaven performed at The Kennedy Center Honors for Led Zeppelin. It’s absolutely amazing. And no, no auto-tune, it didn’t exist in the 1970s.
The band "Heart" wrote and produced "These Dreams" to explain the differences in the two lead singers. Ann Wilson was into the Wicca religion (but only as a hobby,) but the other vocalist was not into it. But, it is an epic rock video!
You really can't go wrong with any song from Heart..So many other songs by them..There's a great.live version of Heart singing "Straight On" up here on RUclips from its either 1977 or 78..It's a great live version..Other songs like "Dog and Butterfly" "Magic Man" "Dreamboat Annie" "These Dreams" "All I Want To Do Is Make.Love.To You" ""Never" "What About Love" among many others..They also do amazing covers of Zeppelin like "Kashmir"."Black Dog" "The Battle.Of Evermore" and there's a great cover that the Fisher Brothers posted of "Rock.amd Roll" from about 77 or 78..Nancy.does an amazing cover of an Elton John song.called "Mona Lisa's And Madd Hatters" from their Live in Seattle concert 2002...
Definitely No Auto Tune Etc.. Nice Reaction Though, Thanks For that.. I Suggest You Checkout Their Song Magic Man As Well The Kennedy Center Tribute To Led Zep They Covered Led Zep's Song - Stairway To Heaven Lulu You're, Simply Stunning 🌹 Cheers From, Western Canada
Nice!! First time on your channel and was very happy I did. You both are great, but man you are funny. Heart is a bad ass band led my two sisters Ann and Nancy who are very talented, they write, sing and play many instruments. I would recommend for early Heart to start with Baracuda ruclips.net/video/Ps7tVvQHLyo/видео.html Magic Man. ruclips.net/video/Ps7tVvQHLyo/видео.html But it is a must to react to the Kennedy Center honors with Ann and Nancy doing Stairway to heaven in front of Led Zeppelin Full version ruclips.net/video/Ps7tVvQHLyo/видео.html Can't wait to see some more Heart reactions. Thank you ❤💯🔥
You cheated yourselves, I saw them in '77, amazing. Here's a better version ruclips.net/video/qVcl0Iw3fs8/видео.html a longer intro, which Nancy used to do live to get the crowd going in anticipation of that first electric guitar hit. Umm, no autotune in the seventies, just natural talent.
Ann and Nancy Wilson are great - lots of awesome songs with quite a variety of styles. Check out their "unplugged" concert from the 90's "The Road Home". This video is a TV appearance with the studio audio overlayed. There are plenty of live performances of Heart with the live audio. Checkout "Crazy On You" live 1977 ruclips.net/video/qVcl0Iw3fs8/видео.html . This is from a TV broadcast so some quality issues, but it is a great performance. I think the song you were trying to sing is "These Dreams" from their 1985 album "Heart". It has Nancy on the lead vocals (Music video or live: ruclips.net/video/0DLeH2FWFTE/видео.html ). Other songs: "Magic Man", "Love Alive", "Dog and Butterfly", "Barracuda", "Straight On", "What About Love", "Alone"(live: ruclips.net/video/I5XX6KUhs8Y/видео.html ), "All I Want To Do Is Make Love To You" (live: ruclips.net/video/gBK7C7LrF3g/видео.html ).
Can I suggest more classic rock bands: Boston, Styx, The Who, Foreigner, Bad Company. Notes: If you do Styx's "Come Sail Away", do NOT do the "Official Video" as it is a shortened video for MTV. Album audio or live from 1983 or 1996. "Prelude 12/Suite: Madame Blue", "Fooling Yourself", "Man In The Wilderness", "Castle Walls". If you do Boston, stick to the album audio as there are not any good live recordings out there. "More Than A Feeling", "Foreplay/Long Time", "Hitch A RIde", "A Man I'll Never Be". The Who: "Won't Get Fooled Again" or "Love Reign O'er Me". Foreigner: "Long, Long Way From Home", "Cold As Ice", "Urgent", "Waiting For A Girl Like You", "I Want To Know What Love Is". Bad Company: "Bad Company", "Feel Like Makin' Love".
No tech for Auto tune in the 70s its called talent. So annoying when someone is so talented people bring up Auto tune. I was a singer in bands for years still dont know what auto tune is, I know back in those days we did use digital delay which is ever so slight just to please the microphone. But auto tune ?
Autotune unfortunately started in 97. Also the Beatles broke up in 1970. Sgt Pepper was in 67, good to get yr facts straight. Also Ann Wilson is ond of thd greatest singers ever, no need for Autotune
What should we react to next from Heart?

No autotune back then. Just Ann's amazing voice.
Definitely lousy Autotune started in 97. Ann doesn't need that BS she's one of the greatest singers ever.
Except the part where this is just the studio version over a live video.
No autotune, pure voice in the 70s.
She had great vocal talent plus one of the best vocal coaches in the world at that time.
I saw them almost 50 years ago and was captivated by the beauty of those two and their songs. A great band, inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and still active. I think the opening guitar is the best acoustic I've ever heard.

Ann Wilson - Auto-Tune?!!??! - are you out of your mind??? Ann is an OG - one of the great rock voices - male or female - in music history.....
The other song Heart did with that kind of punch was "Magic Man". Later they became more flowing and artsy.
You forgot to mention Barracuda.
The band "Heart" wrote and produced "These Dreams" to explain the differences in the two lead singers. Ann Wilson was into the Wicca religion (but only as a hobby,) but the other vocalist was not into it. But, it is an epic rock video!
These Dreams is sung by Nancy Wilson, Ann sings back-up on this song. I think the "Alive in Seattle" version is better than the video version.
This song brings me back to my early 20's.
Yes an old rock and roller I hear these kids and people who weren't around back then say they used autotune sorry not till 97 did they have autotune
Auto tune did not exist back then. Kinda a shame it does now...🙂
Unfortunately it started in 97 one of the worst things that could of happened for music. She's a top tier singer no need for her to use fake autotune
Definitely No Auto Tune Etc..
Nice Reaction Though,
Thanks For that..

ZERO AUTOTUNE in the 70’s. 😊
Nah - this has no "auto-tune" - they didn't have that in the '70s. Ann Wilson is just one of the greatest singers of all time.
Ann Wilson is so beautiful

Likeable, Lickable, Luscious LULU!
It's not an "acoustic version" - Nancy played her Ovation on a lot of their songs. Most, as a matter of fact. Looks like a Gibson or Martin here...
It was an Ovation. Oooops, I'm wrong.
You cheated yourselves, I saw them in '77, amazing.
Here's a better version
ruclips.net/video/qVcl0Iw3fs8/видео.html
a longer intro, which Nancy used to do live to get the crowd going in anticipation of that first electric guitar hit.

Should have done this live

Autotune was not invented yet, that is all her. Back then if you didn't have talent, you didn't last long.
I think the audio is the studio version and this is just put to the video. It's a great song though.
And there’s a better live version. Blue dress version. 😊
More Heart journey.
Ann and Nancy's dad was a Major in The US Marine Corps Band
Heart formed in 1973.

Na. No autotune in the 70s. And they never needed autotune. Never.
Do “Alone”.
NO there was no auto-tuning back then or AI. They were lip-syncing to the studio recording. Stop guessing.
Nobody can hang with ann she is basically is hart no disrespect to the others.
Auto tune was still a dream in someone who couldn’t sing for real
those days they played the studio version and lip synced it, this is NOT live, sorry peeps. i say they were live even better, much more raw.
A shame you cut off the acoustic intro.
Please to react Putri Ariani cover I'll Never Love Again by Lady Gaga song, thank you.

I was a singer in bands for years still dont know what auto tune is, I know back in those days we did use digital delay which is ever so slight just to please the microphone. But auto tune ?
The 70's version of The Beatles? Seriously?
Sure they would take that as a compliment 😊
Ann always said, “ We didn’t want to marry the Beatles, we wanted to BE the Beatles”.
Autotune unfortunately started in 97. Also the Beatles broke up in 1970. Sgt Pepper was in 67, good to get yr facts straight. Also Ann Wilson is ond of thd greatest singers ever, no need for Autotune
No AUTOTUNE and should have been live...NO NOT PSYCHEDELIC
Autotune??!!....Cmon....
Luv em but totally lip-synced
Auto-tune ? Come on, bro and bro-ette.
Autotune in the 70s😂😂😂😂.
