I also had the issue with the old flex cables. So i contacted the seller, send the fotos and they freed my programmer on there server. After that I needed to do an automatic update and since then it always worked in the offline mode too. It is still working after the newest update. Thanks Ben for the great tutorial! I love your work! :)

After about 3 days of waiting, they did a u-turn and said ask your seller to replace the cables for you. I am not buying anything by JC. From now on I2C tools all the way

I found this absolutely outrageous to go through all these hassles of installing wifi on the device. Personally it is waste of time doing this if one little mistake it could damage the device.
