You motivated me to get one for proper tests. I had the impression that there are enough reviews already everywhere, that it would not worth the effort. I did manage to listen to them for about 20 minutes in direct comparison with Empyrean 1. From my perspective, there is a big difference between 1 and 2 in terms of technical capabilities. I feel like Empyrean 2 is considerably faster, the bass is much more precise, punchier and more detail, the sound in general is more precise and more dynamic. I feel like they are almost on the same page with Elite in terms of technicalities, with a difference in fr response/sound signature. I yet need more tests to understand more when it comes to a comparison with Empy2 vs Elite.
I have the Verite Open in the same Redwood Burl with Stainless Rods and Grills. That’s a beautiful set of Caldera you have…enjoy! The Caldera will most likely be my next purchase. My wife has the Atrium Closed in Camphor Burl and she couldn’t be any happier with them! The ZMF house sound is so good to my ears, and the natural timbre has not been matched by any other set in my collection.
Right on! Thank you! Btw, congrats on getting your wife into this hobby. I failed to do so with mine, but at least she is supportive. I hope I will get my hands on other ZMF models, to do a proper comparison.
I have not tried it, but extrapolating from the other experiences, it should be a good match, yes. I imagine it would actually enhance the strong points of Caldera.
Yes I did, but at the Munchen Audio Show. I remember that I loved them too and that in the end I preferred Caldera, but I need more time with them for a proper comparison.
Audio awful/unlistenable. Sorry. Wanted to know your thoughts, but every time I tried again, it was a bad audio experience. I’m guessing the accent would be just fine if audio was reasonably clear & less noisy 🤷
I have seen the comments. Feedback acknowledged. Thank you for the feedback! I have a rode wireless pro on the way as we "speak". I do have another rode mini and a shure mv88+. However, it was really windy outside and in the last video, I used the microphone from bose quietcomfort in ears. Not a good choice.

From the thumbnail i thought these where premium office chair wheels xD
Damn, I can't unsee that now :))
Love your reviews. I have the Emperyan 2s. I'd love to get your brief comparison of the two.

I’ve heard both. I’m actually thinking of going VO over the Caldera

Which stabilized (name) is that?
Is the comparison with Elites with H or AA pads?
Hybrid Ear pads. Those are my favorite. Did not test the new angled ones yet.
Do you think the Caldera would pair well with the pass labs hpa-1?
Yes

Unfortunately I have big difficulty with acoustically understand the speech. To a degree I cannot follow the review and have to break.
Thank you for the feedback. I tried to redo the review with better audio here if it helps: ruclips.net/video/HdHEKcaZa2s/видео.html

Message received. I have bought the Rode Wireless Pro microphones. The next video should have better audio quality.

Invest in a mic.
