    *What's your favorite Synchro-based deck to play? I feel like a lot of decks nowadays use Synchro alongside other mechanics, so it's rare to find more pure ones.* 👀

    I’ve played against Adamancipator so many times in master duel and I never understood what they do and what their goal was. After this video, now I know more about their goal which sounds fun to maybe try out, but also teaches me how I could maybe beat them better. That gave me the idea of a series or shorts series you could do where you go over different deck types and what their game plan is and what makes them unique. There’s so many archetypes out there in yugioh and the hardest part is trying to guess what the hell kind of game your opponent is even playing

    Really cool vid, synchro summoning has always been my favorite summoning mechanic.
    They weren’t mentioned in this video, but personally I’m a HUGE fan of Agents, Speedroid, and Infernoble Knights, all of which have a significant synchro summoning component. Agents in particular are extremely fun and consistent with their Diviner of the Herald -> Trias -> Buten -> Masterflare Hyperion combo. Infernoble is my favorite deck of all time, it’s a deck that really rewards your skill in combo execution and allows deft players to get through nearly any interruption with proper ordering. I always have respect for duelists who really know their synchro deck inside and out.

    Recently ive put together and really been enjoying T.G with my friends, i even decided to cave and mix in some of my Synchron cards giving it a small synchron engine ontop of the T.G cards, Rocket Salamander is just so cool along with Glaive Blaster and Over Dragonar make the deck almost as explosive as Synchrons alone but with it's own flare.

    I think Adamancipator pairs very well with Fossil Fusion. It gives you an easier way to trigger Flint Cragger and fill up your GY with Fusion material. And it gives you access to monsters like Naturia Beast, and by using Cross-Sheep and Xenoguitar, you can summon Fossil Dyna with Skull Convoy on the field.

    My brother still rocks his Yang Zing deck. Annoyingly they all have When statements to float BUT one can do some funny things because each Yang Zing bestows an effect on the synchro monster they are used to summon (an example is a battle immune Herald of the Arc Light). They also can quick synchro on the opponent's turn for surprises like Baxia spinning cards or outside archetype synchros, since the quick synchro's only restriction is using yang zing monsters only. Chaofeng can single handedly mess up any attribute related deck, Yazi can use its effect to float into Mare Mare for some Synchro or Link shenanigans, and Denglong is finally unbanned to search their spell/trap line up.

    Not mentioned, there's Infernoble, a spin-off of the Noble Knight archetype.
    Because how Infernoble plays and their effects, very few of the original Noble Knights can properly work with them, biggest being Noble Knight Brothers and Noble Knight Custeninn, while the most notable Extra Deck original Noble Knight that works in Infernoble is Ignoble Knight "Lancelot", being a Synchro itself that's the same level as three of the Infernoble Synchros. Very little of the rest can work in Infernobles, and that's because Infernobles effects generally say "FIRE Warrior", which the Noble Knights are all LIGHT or DARK Warriors.
    The deck is among the most simple Synchro decks out there, as the monsters levels and how they work to Synchro is very straight forward, only two of them change their own levels. Turnip and Ricciardetto, two newly added Infernobles in the TCG/OCG, are the Infernobles that changes others into Tuners, while Renaud turns itself into a tuner if summoned in a specific manner.
    This deck, being a spin-off of Noble Knights, work with Equip spells, but aren't as reliant as Noble Knights are (This makes Morgana and Until Noble Arms Are Needed Once More less useful in Infernobles). Instead, Infernobles are more reliant on a mechanic similar to Crystal Beasts; monsters as spells in the backrow, but as equip spells instead of continuous spells. The Synchro monsters gain effects while equipped (by spell or monster, doesn't matter) and main deck Infernobles have GY effects. Either to equip themselves to another, to banish themself to special summon itself and another FIRE Warrior later in the duel, or search your deck to add other FIRE Warriors.
    The end goal of Infernobles in MD is to summon Infernoble Knight Emperor Charles, a level 9 Synchro that can destroy a card on the field when a monster gets equipped with an equip spell and equips a FIRE Warrior to it in the End Phase (NOTE: When a monster is in the backrow, it's always treated as a spell while there, Pendulum or not). While in the TCG/OCG, this strategy goes farther with the addition of Emperor Charles the Great, which is a Link-1 monster that explicitly requires Infernoble Knight Emperor Charles while it's equipped as material. Emperor Charles the Great (really should've kept its OCG name, being just "Charlemagne", which the entire archetype is based on Charlemagne and his knights) copies the Synchro monster name and effect, equips the Synchro as an equip spell, and has a spell/trap negate and destroy at the cost of sending an equip spell (either in hand or GY).
    There's also Shiranui and Reptiliannes, but you can play Shiranui in the Solo mode in MD, so don't need to explain, and Reptiliannes are a series of Lamias/Gorgons/Medusas (and any other snake-ladies you could find in mythologies) that's generally pretty weak, but with a goal of making your opponent's monsters' atks 0, and gaining effects based on how many of such monsters exist on your opponent's field, those being destroying those monsters, negating those monsters, or special summoning additional monsters to your field. Nibiru is hilarious in this deck, as you tribute all your opponents monsters and next turn the token suddenly has 0 atk.

    Synchro summoning is the coolest summoning method imo even though it can be pretty cumbersome at times. However, my favourite Synchro deck is Stardust. Red Dragon’s pretty rad too.

    • @hephsforge9236

      *plays Mayakashi every now and then*
      Me: What could possibly be cumbersome about having to synchro summon anywhere from 5-10 times every turn while also doing three links and a special summon from grave each time I do one of these?

    • @johnnynguyen9240
      @johnnynguyen9240 9 месяцев назад

      @@hephsforge9236 Well, I came across a Mayakashi player a few months ago and I admittedly had DD crow in my hand and banished Dakki. This pretty much messed up their starting turn. And with Stardust, their Dakki is pretty much Junk Speeder. It’s like Synchro decks, aside from Swordsoul, all need a great starter and if that starter gets lost or negated, it’s pretty bleak for the person. Idk what else about Mayakashi that can facilitate their combos aside from Dakki so perhaps I’m wrong about this, but that was my experience against the deck. So that’s why I said cumbersome at times since another archetype like Swordsoul doesn’t really have to worry about synchro summoning since their monsters can generate tokens on their own.

    I like the variety of different archetypes where a player can find something that resonates with them. Personally I look into an archtype based on the aesthetic and theme initially then research the mechanics of each card related. For Synchro, The Fabled centered around a unicorn theme with Unicore and the lightning-themed Unicorn, Bicorn, and Tricorn and other beast boosting cards.

    Glad I found this video, Synchros are my favorite, and warms my heart both Red Dragon and Stardust suggested. What is a letdown for me, is there no such a thing or love for the Synchro Warriors, those are might hectic together, albeit Quickdraw at least can bring all together. (but also true among those, Junk got the most support, unlike Turbo and Nitro. Heck, I always wanted to see more Nitro at least, Nitro Warrior is super cool, and I used to win Duels with said card)

    I think speedroids are pretty neat as well, had lots of fun playing it and they are pretty simple with quite a few good clear wing monsters and baronne. Although they can be easily interrupted but if you avoid it, you can end with a solid board.

    possibly stupid question: can i have a lvl cheatsheet (like just a note card) that say the lvl of my synchro mons in a live duel? or could i have a lil sicker on my sleeves (face side) saying the lvls? I just bout the RDAF structures and i have trouble memorizing and reading lvls. I'd like to do this to speed up my combos but don't want to be called a cheater.

    • @vaidha8579
      @vaidha8579 9 месяцев назад +1

      I assume you're new or haven't played since goat/gx. However You can look at your extra deck at any time. But typically you don't want to look into it excessively. I'd say each time you're about to make an synchro summon just look at what options you have at said time. My personal way of remembering levels when I first started back up ( back when the junk synchron structure deck came out) I'd put my thumb over the first 4 stars and then look over at my field. That's what worked for me. Just pretty much split the level in 2s or sometimes 3s to make it a little easier.
