I watch this almost everyday it’s such a beautiful tribute to lagertha. The greatest warrior Queen, farmer and mother in tv/movie history. Her send off to Valhalla is so beautiful.
I don't understand all the hate she got from so many. (in the show). That Auslag woman cheated with a man she knew was married. Had his bastards. Everyone is mad at Lagertha. She is a great mother and they say she's not good enough. The little chick with the big nose and heavy black eye makeup. Her too. Then Auslag knowing she's defeated. She'd rather die. But, doesn't want to do it herself. So, she Sets up Lagertha. Telling her to kill her. There will be no retaliation from her sons. After Lagertha honours her request. She smiles, because she knows her sons will go after Lagertha. Now her, Auslag woman. I hated her with a passion. But Lagertha was something special. She didn't bother anyone unless they messed with her first. I wanted her and Ragnør together. Because they really did belong together
She was a Strong, & Confident Woman. She did not have to be a bully. To prove her strength. A Strong, & Powerful Shield Maiden. Now she is in the great hall.

I don't think I've ever seen such a beautiful tribute. THIS is pure art. I had goosebumps, started crying and watched it again. You portrayed her so well... Her relationship with Ragnar, Bjorn, Asa and even Ivar. Thank you for this blessing!❤
When I was a kid, long before the tv show about vikings I knew about:Ragnar his wife Lagerda, his son Björn Järnsida (ironside, king of island munsö here in Sweden) Knut den store (king of Danes/england) Leif Eriksson (explorer) and Rollo ruler of normandy, and ofc Olof Skötkonung which many today are related to in Sweden, former king of modern day sweden during viking age. Lagerda was a shieldmaiden who owned a bear as pet, married ragnar, had two sons and a daughter with him, the text from 1200 ad even says that they lost the name on the daughter- which is even more evidence they didnt just "make up stuff" even if all sources arnt true or probably true, but atleast this is what they had been told. They divorced later, and she remarried but killed her new husband at the wedding and became a jarl on her own. That is all we know about her. the show I think kind of treated her well. Also, in there is a Valhalla for women in viking religion, but ruled with Freja - but I couldnt see why these people never mixed and meet, between odens/odins hall and Freya/frejas. Btw in medieval times stories was told about Björn Järnsida ruling munsö, and places here in Sweden are named after him. At Munsö there is a large chieftain burial from viking age with a broken runestone near it. As modern historians says; It could be him, we will never know.
@@Nutric835 well those vikings lived tolkien/fantasy lives, they believed in elves, gnomes, dragons, trolls, magic etcwhen they saw ravens they suspected odin was watching them- in fact even a weird animal showing up near a village or in a forest someone spotted could be loki checking in on them. it must have been trippy to live back then!

since when ragnar sacrificed himself for lagertha ? and vice versa, ragnar would be glad to know he fucked Aslaug since lagertha had sex with Rollo while she was with ragnar, be canon please
There was a time, before the series started, Lagertha was with Rollo und Ragnar at the same time in bed. At the end Lagertha wanted to be with Ragnar (we didn't know who is the father of Bjorn, one of them must be). Lagertha for herself didn't know who is the real father of Bjorn. Important is that Bjorn decided to be Ragnar's son and Rollo's nephew. Also, Ragnar wanted her to forgive him, for everything that hurt her. Ragnar came after 10 years and said Lagertha that he wished he had never left the farm. So Ragnar would never have met Aslaug, in that way.
Sergen Bölükoglu exactly he basically told her he wished they was still together at the farm Ragnar loved largetha deeply but his thirst for power over powered that he was very young

Dude I cried so damn hard when she passed. More then I ever have for any character. It is someone I'd want to be like in never giving up. Even now I tear up. I hope to one day write about a character as fierce and as loyal as her.
was it loyalty to ragnar that made her sleep with rollo?
Such brilliant portrayal of such a legendary character,Katheryn Winnick is definitely one among the best actress in the world.
Lagertha and Daenerys have a special place in my heart 💖
This tribute is amazing as always !!
Mother of dragons ...breaker of ⛓
"In my dreams we are always together"
😢
Excuse me its me not you 😂😂😂
me: i’m just a simple man living a simple life
When bjorn was talking about his mother ,I felt that deep inside as I am a mother of 2 strong boys...this show was everything!

I cannot be the only person who feels their heart shattering at the story of Lagertha. Simply listening to this audio hurts.
During the entire 8:48 minutes I’ve not looked away for a single second... I am so happy to see the edit and it felt like I’m revisiting the entire season in every scene... Such is the imapct of Lagertha on the lives of anyone who has seen Vikings..!! All Hail the Queen of Kattegat..!! Mother of Norway..!! A True Legend..!!♥️
I don’t even watch the show but I saw the episode she died in the other night and I was like “wow.....I wanna watch this.” This was beautiful and makes me wanna watch it more.
Thank you so much Rukia :)
You need to watch from the start it's epic such a fantastic series
You will be love this show !
I caught this show on a plane from Iceland and I’ve been intrigued ever since.
You need to watch this show, it's incredible. Best show ever.
I watched this show like a year or two ago and somehow this popped back up in my feed. My lord, it took back. Her burial at sea scene is one of my favorite moments of cinematography ever. LOVED this show.
I should not have watched this while sitting in the airport. The struggle to not turn into an emotional mess was hard. It’s very rare to come across a show that gets under your skin like this one. I am so sad it me over but grateful for the experience to watch these characters through their journey. Each part was made for them, I don’t think anyone else could have done better. ♥️
She was a great character. A great tribute to her.
“You and I were born to be together”
That line got me crying!!!🥺😭

Dude! I don't even go here, never watched the show, and I've got tears streaming down my face. WOW! What a phenomenal character and what a great editing job you did to tell her story in one short video. Now I feel like I need to take the time to stream this somehow
As modern historians says; It could be him, we will never know.
quezcatol I wanna know everything aniut history and see it with my own eyes so bad.
To bad Sweden is being invaded and losing all there heritage once so strong now bans runes and lets mental illness run everything.
@@levithorstone2876 I heard about the rune thing, the making certain symbol hate symbols but hasnt lead to anything, more for mentally ill lefties to scream about- for ex tyrs rune. i live next to a runestone from viking age btw, it has the serpent on it. they can try and censor all they want, people will jsut get a tattoo of it then.
@@quezcatol nothing changed ;) gods are still here, watching through the eyes of many, walking between us and choose the worthy ones :)
Lagertha is the BEST woman's character of all the series, what a epic ICE MAIDEN!!
This is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen
Ragnar and Lagertha both Sacrificed for each other ❤️❤️.... So sad that they cant live together despite they love each other immensely 😭😭
Ragnar and Lagertha in Valhalla Reunion is so touching....
since when ragnar sacrificed himself for lagertha ? and vice versa, ragnar would be glad to know he fucked Aslaug since lagertha had sex with Rollo while she was with ragnar, be canon please
@@just2vicious466 In consideration to the fate of his own folk, it's not wrong what Ragnar did (sailing west, become jarl and then king, attacking cities and making himself and his folk famous). Lagertha understands Ragnar's actions and of course she's happy about that what his man reached. At the end Ragnar apologized to Lagertha, because a man should and Lagertha forgives him. Ragnar never wanted to hurt her, as I said. At the end it doesn't matter. Now they are together, in Valhalla...
@Zombie Media Not all women, but shield-maiden are going to Valhalla and Lagertha was, is and will always be the greatest shield-maiden in history of Scandinavia.
She was one the reason I got hooked to the series. Very well written character , strongly enacted as well. Love ❤️
I can’t get over how AMAZING this tribute is. It’s just.... PERFECT. Thanks so much for creating this

I’ve watched Vikings more times than I can remember. Lagertha’s death always makes me sob like a baby😭
The writers made you feel like you actually knew her, so that when her death came it felt real to the viewers.
I loved this video. Thank you💙🙏🏽💙
one of the best looking and underrated female actors in existence.
Oh my god,Lagherta's death was too much for my heart handle it
I felt nothing... dont know end of the last season and this season lagertha feels so much diffrent then in the older episodes. But when björn started talking about lagertha, i was almost crying like a baby :D
Damn it. I'm not even in this fandom and I bawled my eyes out
I never even watched the show and holy shit I’m missing out
"You and I were born to be together"
Ragnar and Lagertha are my forever favorite love story
RANA Y LAGARTA
Bjorn was the best thing that happened to lagertha
Ragnar was the love of her life and Bjorn was the man of her life, the only one who never betrayed her.
Dude his speech in this fucking got me teary eyed man damn
Björn knew what it had taken for her to walk away from Ragnar. He had seen her pain. He had grown up watching her fight for the little she could get. He understood her most. Ragnar messed up big time when it came to Lagertha. Björn is a perfect example of dutiful sons. You can be a great son without being a mama’s boy
Hail Queen Lagertha. 🛡⚔️

thank you so much for making this video. I just watched the last episode and I can't even describe how disappointed I am.
But this video made me cry and this is the closure I need,
THANK YOU
This video was absolutely perfect! You are a talented creator. Literally every scene and important phrases in the show were included as well!
Oh my....this is absolutely beautiful. What a tribute. Well done. All hail the greatest Shieldmaiden to have lived.
I think you've realized the best video about this amazing woman and what she represents, it always make me cry, thank you!
RANA Y LAGARTA GREAT SHOW
Everybody loves Lagertha, such an iconic character.
That was beautiful. This is the best show ever. Epic almost covers it.
So... this is basically perfect from top to bottom. This might be the coolest video of its kind on the internet. Such an amazing job.
Wow! Thank you for this! I love this show, her character and the actress. Amazing compilation of scenes, great editing, makes me cry.
Aside from Daenerys, Lagertha is one my favorites. She's one of the reasons why Vikings is such an interesting story!
Daenerys is fake character while Lagertha is historical character
And Vikings is not story it's the history
Ranjit Kale it is mostly fiction
they ruined daenerys character completely tho
@@Afflictamine I know hahaha I wanted to rewatch GOT but everytime I remember its season finale, makes me wanna vomit!
She looks a lot like a cross between Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Dormer.
That's Katheryn Winnick and she's a goddess......
Natalie Dormer ? Never ever....
Exactly! When I first saw this woman, I thought the same
Yea no doubt as soon as I read this I was like No Shit
One of the best characters ever made, all hail the queen, the shield, the warrior, the mother. May she rest in peace💙
Estoy aquí, después de haber visto el tributo, y tengo los pelos de punta. ¡Qué grande eres! ¡Qué bien montas y qué maravilla de vídeo! Farewell Lagertha!
I've seen a few tributes to Lagertha, but this one by far, is the best one I've seen. Thank you for making this. 💜

Série espetacular, sem palavras. E que grande homenagem a personagem, emocionante
I'm not crying okay... There's just something in my eye...
By far the greatest character and most difficult death to watch in the entire show
Best Lagertha video I’ve seen. Truly 🤙 Many deaths made me cheer while still sad. Hers made me cry when it came. Amazing character.
Beautifully done. The episode with her death(and Ragnor’s death) were difficult to watch. Thank you for creating such a perfect tribute to my favorite character(aside from Ragnor!).

Love Lagertha!!! She was my favorite!!! So sad this show is over!
I haven't shed a tear in a long while, but Lagerthas funeral broke my heart and I broke down like a baby. Very touching.
Lagertha's death left my heart empty, but this video fill it completely again 😭❤ it was beautiful, thank you.
Incredible edit 👌..and Lagertha was definitely my favourite character in the show.
What a beautiful compilation of moments. I felt like I was watching a true memorial

thank u for this beautiful clip..all the characters are amazing... lagartha is one of them... we love u lagartha
Lagertha went through so much with Ragnar and still stay true to him and stood by his side during battles, that is a woman !!!
By the comments around both of them slept quite a lot around though
