One mention, about different trading platforms is that the EA's will vary. Tradingview having quite a few of my favorites.

👍Thanks. Thanks too for the pointer that the contract ticker with a '!' is automatically rolled. 👍 Btw, is the roll done between a Friday Close/Mon Open or will price jump suddenly at a random time midweeks, every couple months or so?
Typically it’s midweek, halfway through a specific month. Contract expirations are listed on third party websites and TradingView, so a quick search should do the trick.

If you divide points with 10 you will get pips. For example 1562 points is 156 pips
ok nice bro but how big does your account have to be if you want to trade with your own money with 100x leverage everyday ...3-6 trades per day...1000 or 3500 us dollars ? and how many points would the trade need to go against before you open position gets liquidated. Would like to know because I can't find this info on any brokerage website. trading nq and gold futures btw.

So it would like you need some bread to get into future cause forest I can risk like .50 cents per. Pip but futures I like 2 dollar and is that the same with any account size so u got blow a $20 dollars account in 10 points

I've been trading forex for a good while, and I use a broker that is directly linked to trading view, one of the nice things about this is I can just hit a button that says I want to risk 1% of my account. Account balance and trading view will automatically adjust the lot size for me based on the stop loss I have chosen. Is there something similar with trading futures? Assuming you're using a broker that is linked trading view, it seems like calculating contract sizes is such a pain, especially if trading view has a integrated button that will calculate it for you. Thoughts?

Please help: I've been trying to setup paper trading on trading view, but it keeps telling me that I need to subscribe for real-time market data.
I signed up ($15/month) as well as $7/month for real-time data, yet when I click "buy", no matter what it is, it says I need to subscribe to market data still!

I’m not sure what the issue could be, I suggest reaching out to TradingView’s support team or finding the solution elsewhere online.

Nope, no specific reason right now. In the future as CBDCs become a thing it may nullify the practicality of trading forex. Something that ICT has said before, but not a problem at all right now.

Crude is 10 per tick per contract, not sure about Gold

Don’t need a subscription, but do need the live data if you want to access the actual futures charts. US100 and US500 are free to use and you can demo trade there, but the contracts and points are completely different. Thanks for the support! 💛

Depends what strategy, if you use ICT it works. Just times are different. I suggest testing it out and doing research
