@@Thomas-bq2se it is bad for 2 main reasons: 1. The fat pretects the muscle
2. The body uses fat for energy
@@armysimp Having a low body fat percentage doesn't mean at all that your body lack in fat to use, it means that you stayed in a caloric deficit to get there (during which you still eat carbs, protein, and fats), and then you stay in a maintenance (with still carbs, protein and fats). You mix up having a low fat percentage in your body and having almost no fat in your diet, which are two completely different things. Fat is indeed vital for the human body but being lean does not mean you don't get them, especially if your muscular, because without fats you can't be that muscular.
It's genetic that's just the shape of his face, He just has a broad jaw and prominent cheekbones. I know a guy who has super skinny body but also has a round fat face so it has nothing to do with having low body fat

The Parkour guy did incredible, especially for someone that had not trained for or run the course before.
This guy also takes part to french Ninja Warriors program since several years and he's pretty good

@@adamch7887c'est carrément faux ça,il y a pas mieux que les S.A.S. Et ceux qui peuvent leurs tenir tête sont la Delta Force,la Seal Team 6,la S.B.S,la J.T.F2,KSK,et peut-être aussi la RPIma française. Il y en a d'autres mais c'est tout ce dont je m'en rappelle.
Au début de la vidéo j'ai été surpris de la bienveillance du major envers Clément : il lui fait part de sa connaissance du terrain et le conseille sur la stratégie à adopter pour qu'il fasse au mieux de son potentiel alors qu'il est le challenger. Je trouve ça très humble et honorable pour ce major qui fait preuve d'un grand esprit d'équipe. Ca doit être ça qui rend la Légion si spéciale.
Rien à voir, il lui explique les obstacles, car il y a des règles. Il y en a certain qui doivent être passé par dessus, alors que Clément aurait pu les passer par dessous si il savait pas que c'était obliger de les passer par dessus. La fameuse planche par exemple, ou les premiers obstacles.
Et puis quand t'as jamais fais ce parcours, il faut connaitre les règles c'est obliger.
Après, oui étant donné que c'est un civil le militaire va pas lui parler de la même façon qu'à ses soldats...

@@deniswallace4142 Yeah. They say the roll supposedly reduces the impact instead of just landing hard on your feet and injuring an ankle or knee.
But in situations like that, the Major did better. I imagine the roll would be better after jumping a far away distance as opposed to a drop...

@@FBPG if you look at him you can see that he did it in his own technique at first, but then he looked at the major and did it as he did.
The Major runs the course in full uniform including combat and wins.

That clothing isn't has heavy as you think and to people who served for a bit that clothing is like regular clothing. It's clear you don't know shit about military uniforms.
I did wear this type of uniform and boots in a foreign country as part of a military volunteer trip back in 2005 and I didn't feel it was so heavy..Sure the boots were more rigid than sneakers, but you get used to it fast and the boots protect you from dust and small pebbles and rocks on thje ground, which sneakers don't!
I would like to point out he is not an officer, but a Major, which is the last rank of "sous-officiers" (NCOs I guess?) in France. He has 30 years of service. Really, really impressive guy.

Si il a raison , le major est un habitué du parcours du combattant, tandis que l’autre le fait pour la première fois , et pour une première il est au botte du major , si il avais la même expérience au parcours du combattant il aurais terminé bien avant le major
@@didubako6738 après le major a environ 8 kg en plus d'équipement et 20 ans de plus bon sachant que clément se trompe de coté (il dois perdre 4-5 sec) et que au temps final y'a 5 sec de dif ils ont casiment le meme niveau car l'éxpérience du major est comblé par son âge et son équipement

It was cool seeing how the ideas and techniques of Parkour are used in a more practical situation. There are probably even times where it makes the difference between life and death.

Les deux sportifs sont méritants. Toutefois, la tenue de combat du Major et ses chaussures sont des équipements plus lourds à porter qu'une tenue décontractée.
Le volume musculaire du Major aussi est plus lourd à porter.
toute fois il faut en prendre compte que le major est specifiquement entrainé pour passer ce parcourt la.
Le major a une différence d'age qui mérite le respect a elle toute seule... j'aimerais avoir sa condition physique a son age, malheureusement ca demande un travail physique de furieux.

bravo Clément ! pour un premier parcours du combattant tu as été fabuleux !.. en tenue avec rangers tu n'aurais pas mis beaucoup plus de temps mais comme tu l'a constaté l'environnement combat est redoutable pour la résistance d'un bonhomme. ramper ça prends beaucoup de forces, tu t'es vraiment bien adapté.

@lifeIS FuckedUPed Of course he is, because he is training to do that. But believe me, the soldier have more endurance, power and mental than the parkour guy. He isn't "just" a soldier, and we, French Legion Soldiers, have often to run 30KM with the soldiers stuff and a 20KG bag in less than 3 hours and 50 minutes. And we aren't at the level of the soldier of this video, so imagine if he do is best to win this race.

Sad stroy but Majors win is even bigger he is carrying more muscle therefor also more weight than the other guy which makes it even harder. Bigger muscles means higher oxygen consuption and higher energy usage and as i said also more weight.
